You can get a decently made tanto from 1095 or T10 from Asia for this price, except the size will not be easily concealable. Yes, it is sharp and well-built with a good scabbard. Good triangular shaped back gives extra structural integrity to the blade. It is not quite as thing as it appears on the picture, so it should be able to do the intended job well. It's certainly a very fast knife due to its low weight and smart balancing. If you are tall, with a different scabbard (though the original holds the knife upside-down just fine, but not quite as reliable if you run, at least in my opinion, for casual wear upside down, it should be ok) -- it could make a very nice neck-knife. It's generally lives up to the higher standards set by CRKT, just the pricing seems a bit unreasonable. Better/higher end steel would have helped, but the steel they used is by no means bad. But hey, I still got their Provoker, and that's even more unreasonably priced knife. I have at least 7-9 CRKT knives and never had any issues with either.
