Not all of these types of bottles are insulated. I often take hours to drink my protein shake... and when done I rise and use it as my water canteen. However this bottle isn't insulated. So the condensation really got in the way, and my shake was hot by the time I finished it. I gifted it to my friend who drinks his protein room them (yuck) and he LOVES it. Also it doesn't hold the smell of the whey protein like plastic does.

Would have rated this higher if it weren’t for the inside of the lid which has plastic dividers made for helping to blend, but they are not removable so it is difficult to get to the inside of the lid to clean.

This is a full metal shaker, easy to wash no smell. I've been using it for half a year

My boyfriend LOVES this shaker! He's big into fitness so he needs a shaker bottle for all his supplements. He says this cup, unlike the plastic ones, doesn't hold onto the smell or taste of supplements after using them, and keeps his water crisp and chilled when he's not using supplements. Let me tell you, this man has left protein in this bottle for a couple of days, in his car in the TEXAS summer, and after we washed it it was good as new!

Received a damaged item. Tried it with some ice water and could not hold the bottle due to the lack of insulation. The condensation and coldness was too horrendous. Recycled it.
