Works great as advertised!! We have rounded steps at the bottom of the staires and other gates would not work against the railing. This gate works awesome and gives us the piece of mind of not havering to worrying about our small children constantly climbing the steps.

We love the Dreambaby retractable gate, and these spacers helped to bring it out from the wall so it could be installed. Easy to install and works great!

these work well, but they are a little pricey and frankly, should be included with the gate itself. i would venture a guess and say well over 90% of houses would need this as they all have base boards. having to order this, while not a huge deal, is really just an annoyance. that being said, they are extremely easy to use and come with all the hardware needed to install it with the gate.

The gate looks really good compared to other more flimsy products. There is flexibility in the angle of mounting which worked well for our irregular shaped bottom of stairs. It is loud when it retracts. Not a problem with one child but if it needed to be retracted while another child were sleeping that might be a problem.

Ok so these worked well but I have a low rating for value as it should have been included in the gate. I know that sounds picky but at $75 for a gate you should include the hardware needed. They do work though.

It comes with lengthened screws, but they are still woefully short. You want the screw to go about an inch into a stud. You almost certainly have to go through half an inch of drywall first.Well, after they pass through the spacer, there is less than an inch of screw remaining. That will barely even touch the stud. Not safe. I'll have to buy longer screws myself.

Ok, but ideally should come with lengthened screws for the price. Note you only get two top spacers, one for each end.If I had to order it again I would probably just use a paintable piece of wood instead. The screws run through the side of it instead of through the midpoint, so the whole thing wants to pry off the wall.

Provides space to install the baby gate level with the ground if drilling into the molding at the bottom portion of the gate. Buying this from Amazon was much cheaper than buying directly from the baby gate manufacturer.

The white are not white, they're more of a beige to match the colouring of the dreambaby gate. These do match the fixtures of the dreambaby retractable gate perfectly. I did need to watch a YouTube video on how to fit the gate and extenders which is step by step and easy to understand, it looks decent up and does its job. The extenders are secure and do not move when pressure is applied to the gate.

Really, really easy to add to your retractable gate if you have a baseboard. Glad we purchased this!
