Not Fully TP-Link Compatiable. (Revised and changing from a 1 to 3 star review)
I tried to use these with TP-Link switches. I have 2 SG switches and it would not allow them to boot.If you put one of these in port 25, it will not boot.I bought some TP-Link branded converters and it works fine.Don't get these for TP-Link or you'll have a headache like I did!(**I wrote a longer review but for some reason Amazon wouldn't post it**)--------10GTek reached out to me after this review to see if they could help solve my issues. They sent me a different SFP converter.. This one works like a charm! Here is their explination:"Thank you very much for the update. Great to hear that the new version of the module works well with your device. The difference between the new version and the old version is only that the new version of the module is with LOS, and the old version do not have LOS. Because if the module has LOS, some switches may report errors, so we have not listed the module with LOS version on Amazon for the time being."My two switches are:TL-SG3428TL-SG3428MPSo if you're having boot issues reach out to 10GTek and they will get you sorted out! Very impressive with their support and willingness to get me a product to solve the issue!

Quick and economical
Purchased the 4-pack to connect two 50 foot runs of Cat7 flat cable between Netgear Insight managed switches on a different floor in my house. Plug and play, worked like a charm! I only needed the 1.25 GB version as I only have a 1GB Fios feed (backed by a 100M Xfinity failover). If I ever can get a higher speed internet I will upgrade to the 10GB versions. Speedtest over 950+M up and down from my upstairs desktop! The use of the SFP-T ports was more future-proofing but it freed up the RJ-45 interfaces on my switches for the floor-to-floor feeds as I am using the Netgear GC110 8+2 Gigabit Insight cloud managed switches.
