Great bold chai flavor.
This tea has a great chai flavor. I do feel a small difference if I am feeling especially fuzzy headed or under the weather when I drink a cup of this for about 4 hours there is an improvement in mood and mental sharpness. There have been a couple times that I’ve had a cup and felt a bit queasy after. This being first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It is a very fine powder and very easy to mix. It is better to drink with milk or heavy cream of some kind which chai traditionally is anyway. If you’re trying to boost health benefits from mushrooms I would recommend this in addition to eating whatever is available to you at your grocery or farmers market and not as a substitute. As eating complete servings of shiitake or portobello mushrooms have other benefits from what this tea is intended to provide. Something else to keep in mind this recipe does not contain turmeric.

In search for a non caffeinated hot beverage
As I age the body can no longer intake the 2 pots of coffee I use to take in. Currently I limit myself to two cups of caffeine but I’d like to get it down to one. It’s Sunday morning and have had myself one cup off the bad stuff and now enjoying my Mushroom Chai. The last few years I’ve tried Turmeric, Dandy Lion and Moringa. The packages are large and you grow tired of the same flavors every day. Dandy Lion blended the best but the Postem like flavor grew tiering. I still enjoy the Tumeric and Mornga as they taste most basic and natural. The Mushroom Chai blends well and tastes basic and natural. As far as the autogenic properties, that’s all in your head, or at least mine. In summary it’s a good coffee substitute but a little expensive. If your on a budget Tumeric and Moringa are good choices. These are all low calorie drinks so no sugary content. That’s the way I like it. Bottom line, thumbs up give it a try!

Takes a little getting used to, but not bad!
I saw many complaints about the lid...just open it slowly with your hands. I had no problem with it! I love chai tea, so I thought I'd try this as a replacement to help keep my brain sharp, as I have brain cancer. The taste alone wasn't the best. However, I turned it into a chai tea latte with some flavored oat milk, and I could tolerate drinking two servings as one is only 8 ounces. I can see myself drinking this rather quickly, though.

DISGUSTING NOT CONSUMABLE WASTE OF MONEY
To be fair, I bought this in August 2023. When I FIRST received it, I could not open this can to save my life! So, I tossed it up in the cabinet to concour another day. 2 months later (Oct. 2023), I gave it another shot. No luck. To be honest it felt like the lid was glued shut, so back into the cabinet it went. I almost forgot about it until four months later (Feb. 2024, six months after purchase AND STILL never been open). THIS time I went for the "He-man muscle". It took visegrips to open! And WHAT did I find after it was finally opened? Well, the pics say a thousand words! You could hold the can upside down , NOTHING was coming out. It was all dried up, it actually was solid and a gap between the coffee and the can. The lid, was disgusting! Inside the can was disgusting! Yes, the purchase was six months ago but because it was so hard to open when I first received it, (AND BELIEVE ME, I gave it my all to try and open), I BELIEVE I would have found it to be in the same condition in the beginning. Also, it's in a can. They say canned food should stay fresh up to FIVE YEARS. If it can't stay fresh for six months in a can, I don't think I'd want to consume it anyway.

Too spicy
The flavor is ok, but for me the spicy overwhelms. It seriously triggered gerd.

Really gross but kept me alert
I tried it unsweetened first and it was absolutely disgusting. The spice in it is so overwhelming. I added honey and cream and it didn't taste much better. It was way too expensive for how bad it tastes and how little comes in the very hard to open can. I think it might have helped with my brain fog for a couple hours though.
