Dangerous
I really did want to like these shoes, however it is important to know that they are not to be worn indoors. The Artic Grip pieces embedded into the shoes sole, can be treacherous on carpet and rugs and can result in serious falls. If you are just going for an outdoor walk or run you will be fine, but if your transitioning in and out of the house, stores, or other businesses where carpeted floor or rugs are present, the risk of a fall is high. The artic grip catches and propels you forward. Please be very careful.

Saucy Women's Peregrine Ice+ 2.0
I bought Saucony Women's Peregrine Ice+ 2.0 trail shoes about a month ago. I haven't been able to go run on snowy and ice trail until this morning in cold Minnesota winter!! First of all, this shoes fits so well, you know when you put your feet in there for the first time the feeling that you get this is going to be a good fit!! And it was and is. I just love this shoes and I didn't either fall on ice or my shoes got wet because its a gortex material on top. My running bodies were pretty impressed. I bought a size 10 women, and has a plenty a room for wriggle my toes.I also wear Saucony Peregrine trail shoes all months except the winter running. Thank you Saucony!!

No good for ice or rock hiking
The shoe is very comfortable, but I did not like the lugs. They are too close to each other and there is not enough space between them for the shoes to have good traction on ice, gravel or mud. Also the shoes feel too low to the ground because there is not enough height on the lugs. I am a regular mountain hiker and these shoes are not good enough for the type of hiking I do.

Not for Icy snow
I live in the PNW. Our winters are usually comparatively mild(ish) and wet: above freezing during the day, under freezing at night. Means packed/iced-over days-old snow, and fresh ice when the snow melts during the day only to freeze at night.I bought these shows in hope to be able to run this winter, mostly on paved roads and some unpaved trails. While they work well on a fair layer of snow, they do NOT work on packed/icy slippery snow, and certainly not on ice, whether it's thick or not. I only wore them a couple of times, walking around the neighborhood, and never felt secure enough to run, unless I was walking on super flat grass covered in a small layer of 2-days old snow.Apart from that, they are very comfortable (I wear regular Peregrines for trail running most of the year), keep your feet super warm (in a good way) and dry. They fit TTS.

Best way not to slip on the ice coming and going from my home to work at a ski area.
These work way better than nearly anything I have tried on ice. I have shoes with spikes, traction device to put on shoes and have tried all sorts of soles. Ice+ is the best. Thanks Saucony for making a product that works so well.

Spectacularly good shoes for running in icy conditions
We love the Saucony Ice+ shoes, using both this pair and the ones with gaiters. While they don’t grip on seriously glassy conditions, they’re wonderful in most all icy conditions. We live in Edmonton, Alberta and have been able to run in them throughout the harsh winters.
