This was the 2nd vacuum I purchased on amazon because the first was so bad I returned it. This one is much better.Pros: The brush and suction are great at picking up dog hair. I really like the auto-cord retraction, even though it wasn't a feature I was looking for. I also like the adjusment dial for carpet height. We have some very short carpets as well as some longer furry rugs, so this feature was essential. It works well on both with the proper adjustment. Easy canister emptying. It has a slightly wider track width than some of the others, so that is nice too.There are two things that could use improvement:1. The area where the belt sits is covered by a piece of plastic, probably to keep hair away from the belt. Unfortunely, dog hair still gets in there, and can burn on the belt, causing a smoking smell. Yikes! To get into that chamber you have to take out like 6 screws, so it's not a quick little operation.2. The brush does not stop spinning when you are using the hose/wand. That is just silly, but could also cause problems.Overall I'm reasonable happy with the vacuum for the price point, as I wasn't willing to get into the next higher price range machines, and it's substantially better than the lower priced ones I looked at. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

this vacuum works so freaking well. i was going to get dyson never tried their brand before but im so glad i didn’t spend like $500 on a vacuum. i have 5 animals in my house and it literally pulled all the hair out of my rug AND old carpet powder!!!!the wand release is great and the attachment it comes with works SO FREAKING GOOD.It’s built with all these neat little things for convenience (has built in holders for all attachments, auto cord retrieval, places to keep the hose so it stay out of your way, want has an extension built in on the end so you don’t lose the piece)i love things that make cleaning easier so i don’t dread to clean. The suction power is so good too!!! i’m not getting paid to write this I just am so picky about buying online. I rely on reviews heavy. This is well worth the money!!! light weight great size best vacuum.

Things to know:Setup: EasyIt comes in about five pieces, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. You could honestly put it together without it, if you wanted too.Weight: MediumIt is about 15 lbs. not light by any means, but not the heaviest vacuum either. It definitely feels like a quality piece. It is overall easy to maneuver considering its weight.Maneuverability: EasyIt steers really nicely, and pushed easily on several types of floors. Have tried it on carpet, rugs, hardwood floors and tile. There is an adjustment for different floor types if you need it, I was able to keep it on the middle setting for all of these. I do with the cord was slightly longer I did have to pull it into a few different outlets throughout my house to get into every room, I love the sled retractable feature though.Suction: StrongIt picked up my hair with ease, we do not have pets but I assume it would work well for that also, it picked up things the size of quarters, and as small as sand. Overall very happy with it.

Easy to assemble and use. Worked great on my hardwood and carpets. Love the power and the flexible swivel movement. The only thing that didn’t hit the mark was that once you have pulled the cord out you can’t lock it at the desired length, it will slowly retract back into the wind up compartment. So I have to keep re-pulling it or hold the end right while I vacuum.

I had to replace my last vacuum unexpectedly. I had the same brand, different model, still pet hair features - so I clearly like the performance of this brand of vacuum. Its light weight but powerfully, and very easy to maneuver. I like the attachments it comes with, and they are stored conveniently on the sides. I love the clear bagless canister! The handle is actually the wand extension, pretty cool. It has a retractable cord, im on the fence about that feature; when I was a kid, any vacuum with those often quit working. BUT this cord has clear indicators on how far to extend the cord without going too far and preventing feature from working. Time will tell, for now it's getting 5 stars!

We had a Bissell for several years and wanted to get a new one. This is an amazing improvement. Easy to push and pull, cleans amazingly well. Love the steering feature. Works very nice on both carpet and bare floor. Even the cord retractor works nice. You will love this machine. Our previous machine was harder to push/pull across carpet, this one glides!

Anyone who knows me, knows I take my vacuum choice seriously.This one was easy to assemble and is super easy to use. I LOVE the retractable cord which, is long so I don’t have to keep unplugging and moving it. The suction is strong and this vacuum cleans dirt I didn’t even know was there.The attachments are useful and stay attached to the vacuum during use. Some vacs have attachments that constantly fall off which drives me crazy. I like the way the vacuum gets under beds and furniture. I think the swivel technology helps.Emptying the canister is straightforward and fast so, I do it empty every time I use it. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5, is that the canister doesn’t always attach back to the vacuum correctly. There is not a feature where it clicks into place. It kind of does but, I find it sometimes isn’t exactly right and falls off.Even with that flaw, I’d absolutely recommend and purchase this vacuum again.
