Bought my first pair in Hawaii on vacation at the start of 2018. At first I just thought, ok, they’re cute and they fit differently than others I see and own. Then I did everything in them daily from extreme labor in the yard, to multi mile walks, to just going out with friends. Flip flops are hands down my preferred shoe preference to start. These were like magic though because they fit every activity! Perpetually brand new, seriously comfortable, really cute flip flop perfection. Low profile, easy to pack, never lost their shape or even changed their shape, perfectly fitting the bottoms of my feet. So now in mid 2024 when they finally started to show wear at the thong, I came online to get the same style. Thank goodness they still have it. These are the same fit, just not the same color scheme, and I’ll miss my old color scheme, but I doubt I will for long! They’re just that good. Important on sizing is that I am always a 6.5, and in full size only option shoes, I’ve only otherwise ever been a 7. This is the only style I’ve ever been an 8 in, and I have been an 8 in both pairs. They were too short for my liking in the heel in a 7. So if you don’t like flip flops short on the heel, size up. I purchased my first pair of OLUKAI Ho'opio flip flops back in 2016 when my family was vacationing in Oahu, and they are my absolute favorite flip flops ever. In fact, they are my favorite footwear ever, and if I had to choose only one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life, I would choose these. I love them so much that they are the first pair of flip flops I ever wore until they couldn't be worn anymore because I wear them for literally everything--beach, date night, mowing the lawn, running errands--literally ANY occasion. Living in WI, I switch out the shoes I keep on my shoe mat next to our door to accommodate the seasons, but these flip flops stay out year-round because I wear them to drive my kids to school in the winter sometimes. Why are they so great? Because they're comfortable (even when wet), waterproof, quick drying, easy to clean, compatible with pretty much any outfit, and they are VERY well made. I wore the heck out of my first pair, and they lasted almost 7 years! I freaked out for a few seconds when the toe band detached on one flip flop last week, but then I remembered that I could just order a new pair. (By the way, this is the first time in my life that I've ever ordered a new pair of the exact same shoes.) While I waited for the new pair to arrive, I worried that the quality or construction of this flip flop may have changed the way they do with so many other products over time, but I'm very happy to report that my new Ho'opio flip flops are as awesome as the first pair I had!To the makers of this flip flop: Thank you for making such a high-quality product and for not changing the design over the past 7 years.

This is my second pair in TEN years! No kidding. I bought my first pair of this exact same style a little over 10 years ago. Only just last summer started to wear a bit. Considering I used to buy a pair of $30 flip flops every summer, before I bought my first pair of these, I’d say they have more than paid for themselves.These dry quickly, provide moderate but amazing support and are hands-down the best option out there…for me, at least. I was beyond pleased to find out this style is still made.I do recommend sizing up…I’m a solid 8-8.5 but get these in a size 9, my last pair and this one.I do have a narrow and thin foot so I’m not sure if these work for all types of feet, but for mine they are perfect.

This is my second pair. The first I got in 2017 and 2021 still in good condition. Just wanted another color. They are made out of very comfortable lasting leather. The 2 peices of leather that goes between your first and second toe are extremely comfortable completly unlike the uncomfortable rubber used in those rubber flip flops. I have gotten these wet quite a few times and they do not fall apart. Very sturdy and look more expensive than what I paid for. Definitely worth the money. These are the only flip flops I will ever buy.

I ordered so many different flip flops and returned them all, but this one. OMG - these OLUKAI Ho'opio flip flops are so comfortable and so much more attractive and well-made than any I've seen. They are very high quality, and I'm sure they are going to last me a long time. The seller packaged them beautifully in a nice box with tissue, unlike the other brands which just came in a taped plastic bag. Nice touch. I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly.

I have worn these flip flops almost exclusively since I got them. I tend to have issues with plantar fasciitis, but I haven’t had a single issue with these flip flops! The only thing is the leather between the toes got a little loose with wear, but that’s to be expected. I’ve worn them on a vacation where we did historic touring, hiking (yes, I did!) and went to the beach. I never wore any other shoe I brought! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been wearing these all summer long. Classic. Comfy. They’re perfect. They have good arch support too without being too bulky.
