Are the lights inward facing for selfie shots only or can they be outward facing for shooting room videos?

The Light Clamp can be put on your ‘phone either way around. The soft padding on the opposite side from the magnet will allow you to do that without damaging your ‘phone’s screen. Having said that, the light isn’t strong enough to light up a room and is more useful in selfie mode. Hope this helps.
