This masking is great for painting, particularly for the exterior of houses. I cut it to width (with scissors) taped the head to the window/door, undraped it, cut the bottom and then masked the other 3 sides. It really speeds things up! It's fairly durable, except in a strong windstorm. You can improve wind durability by taping and "X" over the face of the plastic. This product fits in standard hand maskers, but the cutter on the masker does a lousy job bisecting the plastic. I found it easier to just hold the roll itself and use sharp scissors. A good product!!

It does the job but very thin.

I thought I ordered the three tape film but this is just the film only that unfolds. When I realized I ordered wrong I was upset at myself. I went ahead and used a roll and after the first section I used I was no longer upset instead I was impressed. The film clinged to the wall and stayed in placed so I didn't have to fight it trying to tape it. Definitely a shocker and definitely impressed.

Product is essential easy to use. Just keep in mind as to where it is laying as you roll it out.

Masking car works great !

It worked to protect furniture while painting, it's very much thinner than expected so don't see many other uses for it.

You have to cut to desired length.It opens up into several layers and doubles in width.It does cling to things and to itself.Easy to remove when finished.I used to cover things up in my jeep when I put down a lining spray and bed liner .

I bought the roll of this when I moved into a new apt. I steam cleaned the floors and let them dry, then covered the floors with sections of this covering. I had bought tape and Velcro patches but the static-ness held it in place while boxes were brought and stacked & it was just so helpful keeping my floors sanitized, but especially the ability to STAY IN PLACE.

In setting my car for paint

Very impressed with this stuff . Very clingy . Easy to unroll . You will get a static shock or 2 tho , maybe rubber gloves would help . Worth it given the time and efforts you save using this plastic covering . I have 3 different sizes ordered . I just love it . No more paper for me again .I laid in on my truck with the furnace fan blowing at it from 10ft away , gave me no issues in wrapping the front clip in 1-2 mins vs 10-15 with paper .
