This is the best book ever. It has so much information, You can read it over and over again. The book looks just like the picture. It tells you how to use your essential oils. It list all the oils and what they are used for. It has a guide to tell you if you can use it to inhale, external or taken oral. How much and if you should use a mixing oil with it or if you can use it straight. It has so much information in this book. It list all the different body aliments and what oils can be used. It also explains about the different oils mixed for all kinds of uses. It also tells you about how to make house hold cleaning mixes. It list the oils and how to use them for Adult, Children and Pregnancy. It tells you all about your body and the different oils. It is the best book and I would recommend it to everyone. It has a place to keep notes also. So much in this book. It is well worth the price which is very affordable.

This book is packed with information in multiple formats. Readers will enjoy the history and information. The person who wants quick information will find their facts easily. The back inside binding even has a quick usage chart. There are charts for different oil classes, too. There is even a chart for drug interactions with some of the oils. The book breaks down information with single oils, oil blends, and oils for spa and personal use, arranged by ailments. They even include a chart for oils and the body systems they address. (And for me, who likes to know if the information is based on their own experience, folk lore or authoritative references, they have an in-depth section citing their references for the information they've put into this volume of knowledge). They give a beginner like me a complete resource with easy-to-find information for topical use, use with an oil diffuser, and internal use as well.

I am a beginner in essential oils, and this is a must-have hard cover book for everyone using essential oils. My daughter first bought this book, and showed it to me. It was so informative that I knew that I had to own one. This book has pretty much everything you need to know about oils of any brand. It includes information about what plant each oil is made of, how it works, how and where to apply it on your body. It shows what oils you can blend together to get better results. I love that it has a huge section (about one third of the book) of symptoms to look up to find what oil to use for your symptom. Also, it shows ears, hands, and feet body points, and includes research footnotes throughout the book. I was expecting to pay $60. for a book with this much info, and was pleasantly surprised on the reasonable price I paid of less than $25.(If this review has been helpful, please press the yes button at the bottom of this review. BEST BOOK EVER! A friend pointed me in the direction of this book after questioning friends on social media about the use of essential oils. I had recently ordered some oils to try to use them in place of my 3 pills a day allergy meds. I was immediately curious about what more is out there after cutting myself off after a lifetime of allergy med use. I am so happy and so is my family who I am slowly converting one by one. My friend was right, this book was amazing and had everything from how to use essential oils, to single use info, to blends, and a tooooon of references. If you are serious or even half serious about essential oils, this is the book for you. I don't think I've ever read a more helpful/educational book and score it is for something so important like my own health! Currently working on my next order of oils to help my veteran uncle with some of his pain.

I can not say enough good things about this book. This is a great reference book for anyone interested in essential oils, both beginner and experienced users. The book is well organized and begins with a detailed background on essential oils with the science behind them. It includes chapters on the different applications methods. It has a section on single oils and various blends as well. There is an extensive section on useage for specific conditions. The thing I really like most about this book is the tremendous amount of research references. If you are looking for just one book on essential oils, this is the one I would recommend.

When describing the blends, I wish they would put the Do Terra oil name. I would guess the majority of people using this book are probably buying Do Terra, so why not at least put the oil blend name in parentheses so you can figure out which blend they are talking about. But otherwise, it is a great reference, a must have if you use essential oils.

I'm a newbie to oils so this book looks like a great way to get started. It's like an encyclopedia for oils. It outlines the oils needed for certain ailments as well as describes what each oil helps with. You can look up both ways. I went to a doterra demo and they were reading from this book so right away I came to Amazon to order. I expect this to be my go-to book on oils. I may very well order on Kindle to of available so I always have it with me. Hardcopy is fun because I've already started making notes in it.
