You will most likely run out of the room before you get anywhere near a lethal dose from it. Fireman have a saying: if something burning smells bad, it is not good for you. If something burning smells good, it is REALLY bad for you. Personally I would be more worried about all the chemicals from the burning batteries than the pvc. But if you are really that worried about it, there is another bag that is almost identical to this, but uses polyester instead of pvc. I believe it is made by Tenergy. **Q: Is it allowed in air plane transportation** A: I would call the airline and ask them.
