I am a repeater to buy their kitchen clothes. This brand is well known in Japan as one of the best Japanese traditional kitchen cloth. The patterns and colors are the same as the product image, which I love it. I highly recommend it!This product is characterized by their excellent water absorption, and the more they are used, the softer they become. A new cloth comes with laundry starch, so before using it for the first time, it is important to wash the cloth by hand in hot water at about 40°C.

It's nice to have something a little more pleasing to look at in the kitchen sink. I don't mind paying extra if it brightens up the mundane chores. I believe the reviews that say "much too rough" are most likely written by those who tossed the packaging before reading the instructions which is a shame because they are interesting as well as informative. Soak the cloth in very warm water and rinse it. Repeat this a few times to remove all of the starch and the cloth gets super soft. I will order more if it truly proves to be stain resistant. It'd be nice to have dish cloths that didn't eventually end up looking like they just came in from my horse barn. Shoot, I may order more just because they're pretty, who knows?

I had one of these that I bought at a Japanese Garden gift store. Loved it. Then my husband used it to clean outdoor furniture (grrrrr…). I decided to just buy 3 more and ban him from ever using them outside the kitchen ever again. I like them because they’re pretty, but also absorbent and easy to wring out. Best dishcloths I’ve ever used.

I loved the design and the quality. It holds up when cleaning. I didn’t pay close enough attention and that was my fault, this is one, and only one, wash cloth, per purchased item. Even for multiple layers of strong Japanese cloth with cute designs, this was just way expensive. If it lasts years and years, it’ll be worth it.

Extremely pretty, worth the money. Got tired of looking at the dull plaid loose weave dish cloths that get stiff and discolored. These are definitely 100% cotton. Cheerful. On the large size, but I like that. I will follow instructions and air dry these bauties.

I loved the way this dish cloth dries quickly and will purchase these from now on.
