Enjoyed this book considering so much interesting information is packed into a quick read. At times it appears a little disjointed and perhaps scattered but I recommend this to anyone interested in this subject which remains a mystery/myth and highly debated subject.

This is a good read that updates much that has already been written about Rennes and Saunere. The translation from French is weak in a few places, but it is easy to understand what was intended. Occasionally the theme jumps from one point to a separate one. The first half of the book is a background and summary of the basic Rennes story with a few useful additions and comments.The shorter part is on the landscape model discovered about 20 years ago. This part of the book lacks substance and is more of yet more speculation on what the model may or may not represent. It says very little of note and only hints at what has been found.The weakest part of the whole book are the illustration which are poor quality black and white prints, that are all too often too poor to be of use, .
