FREAKING AMAZING!!! I bought these because I'd read in a book to consider taking Mucuna when I quit smoking. I'd done a lot of research to find out what it needed to have in it to have the benefits I needed. This one met ALL the requirements, and then some. I was still a skeptic, but I wanted to quit and really needed a little support. Well, this did it. Not only did it help to minimize the number of cravings I had (compared to the last time I went cold turkey) but - when I had them - they didn't last as long and they were NO where near as intense. I really TRULY felt a calming within 45 mins of taking 1 pill. Even though I'm now a non-smoker, I'll continue to take these on stressful days. They really REALLY do work. Believe me - I'm a skeptic on most supplements...but these work. I'll definitely be suggesting to my hypnotherapy clients to consider these for smoking, alcohol and stress. I stand by my review 110%. I've never had prescription meds work as effectively as these did - with NO side effects. Just awesome. ADDED 7/1/16: I've tried other Mucuna since buying this one hoping I could find one that's less expensive and this one still is the best. The others made me feel tired and off. Others bothered my stomach, and others had no effect...But I keep coming back to this brand. My son uses it for his nerves when needed and he's do I g great on it too. I'll also be suggesting this to my own clients.

I have restless legs syndrome so I take this at night. It makes me a little drowsy. If you’re not deficient then it would be normal to have the exact opposite effect. But then again if you don’t need it then it’s not a good idea to overstimulate your dopamine receptors.I haven’t had much restless legs so I think it’s working. I was also diagnosed with a genetic pyrole disorder which makes me extremely deficient in B vitamins. I now take what would be a toxic amount of vitamin B6. So that could also be why my legs aren’t restless too. I know B6 is involved in making dopamine.BTW the pyroluria is not rare. Doctors don’t test for it or know about it because drug companies can’t patent vitamins. Most people with mood disorders, mental disorders, addictions or insomnia have this.I know I know this has nothing to do with the Ldopa. Just putting it out there because I spent a lot of money and a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Several years of insomnia RLS exhaustion anxiety depression. I’ve tried every herb, RX labs etc. Hope this helps someone.

Based on a tip I received from an osteopath, I decided to give mucuna a try for some ongoing low libido issues. According to the osteopath, her client used some powdered form and after using for some time feels like he's in his 20s again sexually. From the research I've done on this herb, it supplies your body with a precursor to dopamine as well as hiking LH (stimulates T and sperm production). Due to the fact that this is not an FDA approved substance, there's not much in the way of proven dosages to follow and I'm aware that too much dopamine over an extended period time will result in "downregulation" of your receptors... Which, apparently, isn't a good thing. But, since I do enjoy experimenting on myself, I decided to give this a go.I picked up some AFI HGH Dopa 400 (mucuna pruriens extract, 400mg each, 15% L-DOPA) at a local supplement store and gave it a go. After roughly a week of 6 pills a day, I found myself going from barely any sexual response to almost too randy for my own good! Even looking at an attractive woman generated an immediate physiological response (rare for me), and my testes grew slightly larger, firmer, and became pleasurably sore. By the end of the week it was pretty intense, so I decided to take a couple days off. After that, the intensity simply never returned. I tried for another couple weeks, and found my response diminishing past previous lows. Either way, the stuff had worked somehow and I wanted to get it back.Naturally, I started hunting around for a more efficient brand of mucuna--one that didn't require me taking 6-8 pills a day--and bumped into this on Amazon. It was a killer deal, and the +5% L-Dopa meant more bang for the buck. I first started these at 2 a day (suggested is 1-2), then bumped to 3 pretty quickly as I really wanted that constantly aroused feeling back. Unfortunately, I only got about 1/3 of it back, then started getting mild headaches in the mornings. I stopped for a bit, and have recently restarted using only 1 a day. So far so good. Feeling some mild arousal returning, and definitely getting used to the warm flush feeling when they kick in, but still trying to figure out an ideal dosage. I worry that I may have overloaded my system on the first (AFI) trial run, but we'll see...In short, I felt like the AFI brand mucuna was a much "smoother" feeling, like a warm wave that lasted an hour or so. These Keter Wellness ones, being of a higher caliber, still produce results but feel a tad more harsh. Also, the AFI brand pills are brown and grainy whereas these are solid white. Not sure what that's all about. Both brands work, one requires fewer pills while the other can be more finely dosed based on your own response.

I took these for a few weeks and I personally didn't experience any difference in mood. But that's just me. So I can't blame the product, I would recommend to try it personally and see how it functions with your body.personally I am very healthy and active so really don't need them. But you might benefit from them.

A lifesaver! Honestly, this stuff helped me out of a very dark and scary postpartum depression and anxiety. Within the first week the extreme lows disappeared and within two months my major anxiety had stopped. I felt like a human and good mother again. And the very deep sleep was amazing and I noticed it two days in.Just take as directed, 30 minutes before a meal and as early in the day as possible. I take mine when I get up in the morning and drink my coffee. I feel a little "charge" of energy while I'm on my way to take my oldes son to school. I swear by it. For me, I feel as if this is a product I will have to take for a long period of time, I finished my first bottle (3 month supply) and decided to take a month off to test the effects... Two weeks into my off month I had my next bottle rush delivered. The depression and anxiety returned in full force. So now I'm currently halfway through this bottle and feeling more human once again.

I had a terrible reaction to this product. I have used Natural Stacks, Vitamonk, Now, and Double Wood. This stuff threw me off entirely. It affected my coordination.
