Great roller. Worked well for my project.
Used this mini foam roller to apply water-based polyurethane to a faux-marble (wood) countertop in my laundry room. The directions for the polyurethane say to use a brush and not a roller to avoid air bubbles—but I didn’t have the patience for that and used this roller anyway. I went over the bubbles with a foam brush. It worked fine. I wrapped the roller head and the brush (separately) with plastic wrap (to keep them from drying out) while I waited 2 hours to apply the next coat of polyurethane—for 4 coats. The roller worked great for all 4 coats. The roller was a good value and arrived on time for my project. If my review was helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking “helpful”. Thanks.

Excellent for poly
This brand is so much better than most, Mr Rui is a close second but didn't have six inch. Used this to roll flat polycyclic and did not get bubbles or overlap marks. Holds a ton of product and after 3 coats project looks great. Super dense and firm, cleaned up and can see using this many times with water based products. One tip I found wetting it lightly before first use softened it up and made applicatiob easier

Great roller for large stencil projects
I purchased this roller for a wall stencil project As i suggest to everyone - watch a video before you stencil. Watch many videos. I started off using a stencil brush and my stencil looked like garbage. After watching a few video's I purchased this foam brush and it made the stenciling so much easier. It retains quite a bit of paint, so dab sparingly (for stenciling) and be sure to remove the excess on a paper towel. I got a pretty uniform color and while there was some blurring and heavier color at the edges, it wasn't nearly as bad as when I was using a stencil brush. I found this easy to clean and plan to use it again for future projects.

Good for small projects
I used these for the Rust-Oleum tub and tile kit and they did fine. Laid the paint down nicely! My only complaint was that after about one coat on my garden tub the foam part separated from the hard plastic that keeps it on your roller, but I expected that after reading reviews before hand. So I bought two, one for each coat. Overall not bad for the price but they will fall apart on you if you have a large area to paint.

Small, easy to use, easy to clean
I needed a small roller that’d fit into my jar of watercolor absorbent ground, and, would apply more evening to both stretched and panel canvas for art work. Though I could “usually” get a clean even surface using a brush (I’ve tried “many” from those I have), this produced a much more even clean surface, Ie, without lines and unevenness where the final picture would like like it had runs in the canvas weave which then created lines within the finish art work. Because of my watercolor ground, I did have very small specks and lumps of probably slightly dried or congealed ground. Those I was able to simple lift with a tapered metal palette knife. Then I’d gently re-roll the small roller and smooth out the texture. Though there was a gentle canvas weave visible on the grounds when finished applying, it all settled more smoothly than I’d expected when the canvas was dry. Cleaning the roller with warm water worked well, but applying a small amount of soap very quickly cleaned the roller. The fuller picture added to my review shows the roller on an 8x10 stretched canvas, and the closer shot shows the resultant weave or texture the next day, pre-sanded. I almost always very gently use a small moistened piece of sandpaper to go over the absorbent ground (unless I want a more textured effect). All in all, great price for so far a very hand easy to use product 😊

Great for cabinets
These rollers are great for things like cabinets and doors. They leave a perfectly smooth finish and no roller marks. I have used them on numerous products with very expensive and cheap paint and always have gotten the same results. I am usually a terrible painter by the way so I consider them fool proof.
