We got this solar panel to keep the camera in our squirrel house charged, and it works perfectly — even on cloudy days. It’s well-priced, easy to install, and keeps the battery full 24/7 so we never miss the nutty drama. Highly recommend if you need reliable power for a camera. The squirrels remain blissfully unaware of the surveillance… for now.

Ive replaced all of the solar panels that come with my ReoLink cameras with these (I have about 6 of these panels deployed). They are so much more reliable and seem to charge faster and more consistently than the product I paid extra for with the cameras. The only disadvantage is that they are just panels, whereas the solar panels designed by/for the cameras have adjustable mounts. Conversely, these have holes in all four corners which give you more flexibility to screw them on a board, a tree or use zip ties on fences and pipes.

It works but must be in good direct sun light otherwise will not charge phone

Originally bought this to power a small outdoor device but it didn’t work out too well but that was my fault it need at least 15 watts continuously. This however saved me when my power went out during the day and my phone was dead. Plugged in my phone and it charged it enough for me to call my boss. Also used it during a hiking trip to recharge my battery pack was able to tie it to my back pack and got about 30% in an hour. Please do your research on how much power your devices need before buying because 6watys is not going to power much

I use this for a project for outside. It powers a mesh tastic device so far it’s been perfect and keeps my battery topped off no matter what the weather has been.

This says it can power security cameras. In fact, it does just that. Problem is, once the sun goes down, all power is lost. Description doesn't say that. Lost all power to my security cameras when no more sunlight. Only gave one star because it won't go lower than that. Had to hard wire my security cams back to continuous power.

It was smaller than expected, though it does appear very sturdy compared to other portable ones Ive seen. It's slow to charge even in direct sunlight, and be wary if the sunlight isn't strong it might drain your battery instead. It's nice to have for a sunny day camping but besides that not very practical.

To put it into perspective it's about the size of a license plate it is very mobile and easy to carry lightweight but there's no case I would be afraid of somebody sticking it in a backpack it breaking. Very slow charge I plugged my phone into it to test it out I was at 53% and it said 6 hours until fully charged. But it does work great as an emergency backup or I plug my portable speaker into it for work and never have to charge my speaker I had it playing for two straight days almost and never beat at me that it was dying all in all goodbye for the money it is what it is picture looks very accurate

The USB connector weighs 25 grams, the cable probably ads a bit more. I don't know why the USB connector is so big, could there be some kind of regulator in it? If it's not a regulator, it's a shame that it's so big, otherwise you could thread it through the water hose hole on the backpack and connect it to a powerbank in that way. The panel feels qualitative. Gave charging in shaded balcony with gray sky in October. Perfect when hiking for several hours during the summer to charge a power bank. I haven't given it a test for its intended use so I do not know how it will hold up in the long run.
