Love the quality of this holder. I lost the previous one. It popped off my belt. Belt clip is ok it can easily slide off when sitting and standing. But overall the material is heavy duty. Use the small lanyard to loop through a belt loop. It will save you the headache when it pops off and you won’t have to hunt for it.

Works Great. After all the plastic ones that have broken, this one takes several card and is sturdy.

I went through several plastic badge holders over the years and was sick of them inevitably failing where the lanyard attaches. I have a photo ID badge that lives permanently in the holder, and an access card that I need to pull out frequently - and ideally I'd like the former to not get worn out by the frequent movement of the latter. None of the metal holders I found on the market seem to really isolate two badges, and this is no exception, so I was reluctant, but this has been working out OK. I can't avoid the photo badge moving a bit as the other is removed and reinserted, but it's not excessive and the clear plastic face hasn't been wearing the badge too much.Meanwhile, the lanyard attachment loop is metal and is obviously on track to last for many years, which is a huge improvement over plastic models. The pocket clip is superfluous for my use and seemed like a snag hazard, but fortunately it was easy to remove and discard by just removing its mounting screw.

This holder is super sturdy. It also does a great job holding my badge and key card. I never had to worry that they would fall out. This was the problem i bought this holder to fix. The new problem was that my entry machines could not read my card through this badge holder. This became a problem when trying to get in the doors or signing in to use the copier. I would have to remove my keyless entry card and then put it back in the holder when through. That made it a 2 hand job and it slowed me down. Plus I ran the risk of not putting the card back when I was doing a lot of small job copying from my office to the copier. Then my office said all badges must be worn above the waist. My magnetic badge clip struggled to hold this holder. The holder clip was okay when I could clip it to my pants with a sturdy clip (Will Well heavy duty on Amazon), but was heavy so more difficult to use not clipped. If your needs are to find a very sturdy holder that holds your cards (I used 2 cards) well and you don't have to get the cards out for entry or copying, this is a great choice. I used it with a clip-on retractable wire clip and it was very secure. I ended up switching to a lighter wire clip (Vetoo on Amazon) and a thick clear vinyl card holder (the ones I got are double sided and resealable from Wisdompro here on Amazon) that works with my magnetic badge clip (love that readerest- got it on Amazon too. I hate pinning stuff to my shirts.) Hope this is helpful for you. The 3 star is for the inconvenience of having to remove my card from the holder throughout the day. The holder is 5 star sturdy.
