Picture says Made in USA. This will be the last Fram HP filter I buy.Support Americans, not an evil empire that uses slave labor and has imprisoned/sterilized its own people for wanting to be free.

Didnt fit application .. Cause of Amazons Auto correct part look up
I order this for my 08 chrysler 2.7.. Amazon's look up read this fits your. Vehical.cataloge was wrong.. AutoZone said there where 2 different types of oil filters ,mine was the Ph 2 not the Ph 12. (Fram Hp-3 ) lucky enough I have a older Dodge this will fit.Be sure to look up the correct filter before you mail order one. My fault I did a rookie mistake and believed a Online Cataloge before doing my own research. There is no drain Back valve .. I ended up Buying a STP brand that had the drain Back valve locally for the same price and didnt have to deal with late deliverys.

Strong
Top did not blow off when I started my 1915cc air cooled full flow hp oil pump vw motor. Used a "hp" motorcraft filter the first time and the top blew off and amost all 4 quarts sprayed out of the engine onto my garage floor and all over the bottom of the engine. What a mess and boy did I let my potty mouth run.

Talk about heavy duty.
This is by far one of the best filters on the market. If you have the habit of driving a bit on the edge this a must to prolong the life of your engine form that heavy foot. Less not forget great oil. Considerate an engine insurance, as long you change your oil accordingly.

Great all around filter
The FRAM HP1 has been around for a long time. I continue to use it i my off road car for its quality and price. I've never had an issue with it in use. I like the slightly added capacity over standard filters as well as the added burst strength.

Perfect for my remote oil filter on my 1971 VW bug.Cons:I have purchased six of these in recent weeks. Two never arrived but were replaced quickly by Amazon. Three of the six arrived in beat up torn paper packaging. The filters, however, were not damaged.

Big rugged filter for my oil filter adapter on my K3500 489 Big block. Extra capacity and excellent flow. Keeping these on hand and I will be using them on more engines in the future! When you open this your going to say WOW!

I bought this filter because the price was reasonable and, most important, product details say MADE IN USA.Guess what? It is MADE IN CHINA. And it is going back today.Please be accurate in your product descriptions.

Good filter for 2018 Equinox
It's currently the best oil filter for my wife's 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. Don't cheap out on an oil filter if your vehicle has a turbo.
