What did you go out into the wilderness to see?
I don’t remember ordering this. I woke up and felt a strange vibration emanating from the mailbox. Inside was a package. I thought this odd, but as I looked inside the package I found this book. The printing was clear, the pages glossy. It told me the story of a man and his life, a life much like my own in many ways.It contained carefully drawn pictures, whose meaning I am still trying to discern. I will have to study this object for a long time, and I think I will in years to come.I feel I have seen these images somewhere before, but there were also many I can’t say I have any recollection of.Even now, in the other room, I can feel it. It is drawing me. My time is short. I must go. I recommend you order a copy yourself and maybe together we can grasp the true import of what is inside the cover of this book.God speed.

Excellent
I was completely surprised by how much I loved the book. When it arrived in the mail I sat for nearly an hour and read it cover to cover. The next day, I did it again. He has several long story arcs that deal with the modern life and things we're told are "perfectly normal" even though we know they're not. Casual sex, youth porn and drug use and just a life that revolves around nihilism. That all hit home.My favorite panel described casual sex "It's like we were all little kids playing around with heavy weaponry. Just (effin) each other up. Why?" The illustration has little kids with rocket launchers and war wounds. I felt that. The book completely surpassed my expectations and I look forward to putting it in the hands of my younger brother. Having even this small piece of culture that pushes back against our insane modern social norms is special. No one else is doing this. It reminds us that we're not alone. I commend Owen for his creative efforts here and am happy to have support him in this small way.($40+ is probably a tough sell for some people, but unfortunately that's what full color illustration not printed in Shenzen cost these days.)

Great collection!
Great collection from your local twitter weirdo Owen Cyclops. Pages are good quality, color is nice and vibrant, and the book is a comfortable size for reading and storage. Do not hesitate, electricity is a ghost and won't last us forever, being able to hold something tangible is very important in today's online age. Support the man and his family, buy book now (this is not a request).

The enchantment of the world was lost, but now is breaking through in the strangest of places.
A screenshot of the cultural seismograph that is Owen's mind encapsulated in quality pictures, clever dialogue, and a good dose of relatableness. Would highly recommend, especially if you, like myself, continually fill your amazon cart with books and wait until your impulsive self finally gets the upper hand and buys something on the pre-Socratic philosophers or whatever only to get fed to that growing monster that is the stack of unread books that you can't seem to go through fast enough. This one won't be fed to the monster. The tectonic plates of the world spirit are shifting beneath us. Do you feel it?

Funny, thought provoking, unique, and trippy
just read through channel one all in one go. made the mistake of reading it in bed and now i’ve stayed up way too late and need to eat hummus cuz i’m hungry now. i couldn’t put it down. absolutely adored it. loved the variety- some fascinating esoterica, some jokes, some crucial social commentary, and some earnest, unironic soulsearching that i super related to. the art style is fresh, elegant, and attractive. Notes of perry bible fellowship & nightvale, but altogether something truly unique.

One of the best comic strip creators of our time.
Cramming a lot of emotion and meaning into a short 6-panel story is really hard. Harder than most people know until they've tried making a comic. Owen tells hundreds of stories like that in this book, and so far I haven't come upon one that isn't good. Don't let the simple cartooning style fool you, it's astounding how much impact gets across with such precise art. You'll laugh and mayb crie.BUY BOOK NOW. /̵͇̿̿/’̿’̿ ̿ ̿̿ ̿̿ ̿̿ 😬

you must purchase
This is part fiction and part autobiography of someone who has gone from a shamanistic drug user to a convinced Christian. If you are looking for a very aesthetic treatment of topics like pumpkin-based theology or just relatable observations about modern life this is it. There is also an interesting version of Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven referring to the blue bird of Twitter, and as you can see in the images the author has developed his own unique font. The only significant thing I can find to criticize in this book is that it does not include some of his best work, because it is almost all comics. All the more reason to look into the rest of his art on his website or on Patreon.

An astounding foray into why today seems off
I've always held opinions regarding spirituality, porn, and media you're not really supposed to talk about.Well, maybe not opinions. More like emotions. I couldn't really put into words why I had certain views.I found Owen on Twitter and his comics, in great detail, put a lot of words out there reflecting what I was thinking. In the midst of it all, I got a little closer to Christianity as well?Anyways, a well-deserved buy from a hard working guy.

Buy, for your own sake
Truly an excellent book - very insightful and eye-opening while being far from preachy. Also, it's incredibly funny; Owen manages to make every joke land which, in and of itself, is very commendable. Buy this book!
