Love this coffee maker! We have 3 coffee drinkers in the house that are rather...snobbish about our coffee. We like it bold and to retain it's flavor when chilled or poured over ice. This guy delivers. I was a little shocked by the price, but I have to say that the price reflects the quality when you're looking for a set it and forget it coffee maker.Pros:* Excellent coffee - you'd only get better from a drip or press* Cone filter and comes with a reusable mesh filter* Multiple settings* Kcup section for quick cups* Did I mention how good the coffee comes out? OMG! This the best dual coffee maker ever! I was told to get Cusinar for their quality and durability I don't regret a minute of my recent purchase. One of The best setting is you can set up a timer to keep your coffee hot for a couple hours I just love it!! When you are in a rush and don't have time to make a fresh pot of coffee you just need to switch to the K-cup it's easy and quick to used. The only thing I would say on the K-cup side is the option 10 oz water is the max you can choose for the dual machine and it's not quite enough to fil a regular traveling mug. I think a 12-14 oz maximum option would be better. But the traveling mug fit nicely under the machine.. Overall I would recommend this Dual coffee maker 100%.

What I expected when choosing a Cuisinart product - no disappointments, very pleased with quality, and its ease of operation - One change or suggestion for the k-cup maker - the unit is designed to allow tall mug use, but on shorter tea cups or std. coffee mugs an occasional small drop of coffee can splash out of the cup. I put a 1" plastic ring under the cup platform to raise it which eliminates the splash problem. Make this an accessory on future units for short cup use and it would be smart simple change.

On paper, this coffee maker was everything we wanted - a pot, and a single k-cup combo. Unfortunately, it arrived with a multitude of design flaws and manufacturing quality problems. If we could return or replace it, we would: but unfortunately threw away the box thinking it was working fine. The biggest issue is it leaks. A slow leak, so we didn't realize it right away, but every night after filling it, the next morning we had water all over the counter and floor. Didn't know where it was coming from - turns out the single cup reservoir doesn't seal. This makes it unusable. The other flaws were just annoying. Those include (1) one of the buttons is out of alignment (2) the brew button doesn't always register, and the only way to verify it's going to brew is to stand there for 5 minutes and watch; (3) the lid on the large reservoir gets in the way when you're trying to fill the reservoir (4) it was very difficult to program - the buttons seemed not to register the inputs; (5) did I mention it LEAKS WATER all over the place? We're disappointed - if Cuisinart or the seller are able to help us out or refund our money without requiring replacement, I'll update this post. As yet, we haven't heard back.

Quality product. Lots of features.

I love Cuisinart Products and I have owned 2 coffee makers and have lasted a few years until one of them stopped working and there are no replacement parts according to cuisinart customer service. I was happy to find a beautiful navy color and a dual coffee maker with a carafe and a K-cup sections. I was disappointment at the K-cup sharp needle. A special low acid coffee pods do not work in this coffee maker. The coffee pod gets opened on the side and the ground are sprayed all over and cleaning it is a pain. The design of the K-cup compartment should have been slanted like the old models and the metal needle piece should be thinner. I don't understand why I have to push the coffee pod first to puncture the bottom and then close the lid. The plastic of the coffee maker is of a cheap quality. Also, as some people have commented about filling the caraf compartment with water, I agree that it is too tight of a space and hard to pour the water. I was not able to attach a few pictures.

After just 2 months, the paint on the hot plate is already wearing off! This was a replacement under warranty, the first one did the exact same thing. The unit itself works great, but Cuisinart really needs to address this issue with the paint used on the burner plate. Once it wears off it causes the -plate to rust, which stains the bottom of the carafe. I can’t recommend purchasing this unit at this price due to this defect.
