Absolutely superb quality shirt. Incredibly thick and warm material, but I wouldn’t class it as flannel material. It’s not brushed cotton like most flannels. I would personally describe it as a shacket/over coat more than a shirt. I opted to purchase the 3XL as I like room to move. Good length sleeves and the body is very generous in size. Perhaps a little too big, but that should sort itself out once laundered and dried. It can easily be worn with a sweater or hoody under it in the winter. Personally I’d like a little more length, perhaps a couple of inches longer, but that’s just personal preference. The colours are exactly the same as in the pictures and the Navajo design is beautiful. The elbow patches seem to be made from a rugged material and are a nice touch. This brand might be a little pricey but there’s a reason for it. The quality more than makes up for it. I can see this lasting a long time with the proper care.

I ordered my usual size, but it fits more like a jacket than a shirt. If you prefer a more tailored fit, consider sizing down. Overall, it's a quality piece that's great for layering.

Fantastic item. I bought a 2xl that fits well. I am 6.2 ft of really thick material, but then the Carhartt offers a really warm quality heavyweight flannel shirt, good buy

Pretty impressed with this shirt. It feels rugged and hard wearing, yet soft and comfortable. A couple of things to note though: I am 6’2” tall, with a 44” chest. I usually buy shirts on XL. I opted to pitched this in a L after reading other comments. It was absolutely the right decision to size down. Even then, the shirt is very much a relaxed fit. I’m also glad I didn’t opt for the “tall” option. The shirt is plenty long enough. The colour of the shirt isn’t quite as shown in the pictures. They’re not as rich. The brown is lighter than shown, and the red not as deep. Still a good looking shirt though.

This shirt is made from heavy-duty fabric. It feels great to wear, fits well and several people have commented on how good it looks. Recommended.

This is a great shirt! I have both colours now. Does what it says on the tin! A heavyweight woven shirt! Nicely cut and styled and quality fabric. I wanted a shirt that was warm and would last for walking and this is that shirt. The fit, XL was perfect for me, plenty of room if you want to wear over a T-Shirt. I would recommend this shirt and i will be purchasing another soon. The Shirt arrived before the due delivery date which was great as these come from the States.

I bought the tall option because the sleeves are longer, so you can fold back the cuffs to show the alternating material, also the shirt length is very long, more like a coat.
