Eggs never hatched
I tried three separate times to hatch the eggs according to the provided instructions, but didn't have any luck. Which is unfortunate because I was very excited about this product. I guess other people have had success, but apparently this is a hit or miss product. I wouldn't recommend this product based on there being no guarantee the eggs will hatch.

Huevos

Make sure YOU know what YOUR doing. :)
Firstly, I did my research so I knew exactly what to do for these eggs and fry. I also have experience rearing fry. In no way am I affiliated with this company other than buying their product, I do not claim to be an expert, my advice is for educational purposes in hopes it may help someone else.I kept a close on on the weather so I knew when to order.5/6/2024So far it's been a week I have been able to successfully hatch 29 fry in 2 batches. The rest of the eggs are re-drying for another try. 3-5 fry are visible and swimming around in their tank at any given time. I have not been able to accurately count the survivors just yet. They have healthy appetites as they are growing well. Most have doubled in size. So far things are looking good!I will update this post until all fry are gone or we get adults.

It works!
1. Wait at minimum until the printed date to hatch. Technically you should wait until the eggs have visible eyes.2. Hatch in a small container with rain water or rodi/distilled3. After 24hrs get the baby fish into another container, pour out the water and wait for it to start to dry, then reseal for 2 weeks and repeat. Killifish won't all hatch the first time by design.4. Have tiny food ready 1 to 2 days after hatch.I got way more baby fish than I was expecting. They are very small and hard to follow. If you do this right I expect you will be successful, I was. Now the challenge is to raise the fry!

Pleasantly surprised!!!
The media could not be loaded. Cons: Hatch date was about two months after purchase. Directions are not very clear. Food provided did not hatch so I had to find this elsewhere.Pros: actually hatched! Have a solid number of fry (maybe about 20?) and plan to dry out the peat and try again in a few weeks. I’ll update as they grow if I can!

Order now have to wait 3 months for eggs to hatch
haven't tried to hatch them yet but for 60 eggs potentially it is a great price point and they have a QR code of how to use this product and how to breed killifish so you can keep the cycle going for a long time. provides you with 2 capsules of fairy shrimp eggs. I think I got a fresh batch or something I have to wait 3 months for them to hatch which is perfect for me since I will be on vacation soon
