Update:I would like to update and say that after I posted this review, the company go in touch with me and offered me several solutions in order to make up for the issue. They mentioned that I might've received a repackaged item that was shipped by Amazon and not the original company. They have sent me their newest updated burr grinder for free (this is the option I chose from their solutions) but they have offered me a full refund for the original product if I wanted. Their costumer service made up for this experience and it shows they care about their costumers. Thank you Shardor!Old Review:I received the grinder and it was packaged well with everything wrapped in individual plastic bags and nothing missing. However, when I first plugged it in to try and use it, it started flashing lights (in the white base part of the grinder) and shaking rapidly. There was also a weird burning metal smell coming out of it and when I turned it off to see what was going on, I saw grey particles (in the image).I have a similar grinder from a different company and i've never had issues with it, especially none like this. This product is most likely broken and a waste of money. I will not be returning it since I live overseas and it's not worth the shipping hastle.

previously i used manual hand grinder but it was not giving even grind. This electric grinder is affordable, quick and grinds evenly with timed controls to adjust grind level. Also it is compact so does not take up much counter space. Can be used for grinding other things, but i only used it for coffee beans so far.

Use it to grind dog food Prescription kibble 3 times a day. More use than usual for other folks I'm guessing. I'll be happy if it lasts a year. Will get another one if needed. Very efficient, easy to clean , quiet compared to prior Krups brand. Love that I don't have to hold down the button (arthritis). Just choose the setting you want, push the button and let it go all by itself. Truly all electric. It's also nice looking on counter...Hope you enjoy as much as I do. I actually enjoy the time using it, so easy.

***After posting the review below, SHARDOR’s customer service really wowed me. They reached out and offered to replace or upgrade our unit. The new coffee grinder came quickly and we are back in business and feeling caffeinated again. Thanks for a great customer service experience.I really liked this grinder when it worked. After a year of almost daily use it stopped grinding, would not turn on. I’m disappointed. Other brands and designs of grinders I’ve used in the past lasted 10 year and more, and one with a similar design to this one (removable grinding reservoir) lasted 7 years. I believe things should be built to last.

Very easy to use. Love to experiment with different grinds. Definitely will recommend.

Leider kommt das Produkt mit einem Amerikanischen Stecker... Ich hatte gehofft, dass ein Produkt das nach Deutschland versendet wird, dort auch nutzbar ist. Da war ich wohl zu optimistisch. Die Rücksendekosten von 17 Euro nach GB muss ich selber zahlen. Sehr ärgerlich!
