Works on 2013 vw Passat S but it doesnโt fit properly but it works
It works and and was easy to install however if you have a Volkswagen Passat S it wonโt really fit as well but it will work.

it works. you get what you pay for.
i bought this to replace factory broken unit. this unit is not as hardy as the original and when you turn the knob I grit my teeth in hoping the knob does not snap.

Doesnโt fit properly
This product was very cheaply made and it does not fit in properly so know thereโs a very noticeable lip around it instead of being flush like it supposed to be. If the knob came off or just came as a knob that would have been much better than this cheaply made garbage

Doesnโt fit, but does work for now.
Put in 2014 Passat SEL premium 1.8L. Does not fit well. Will not snap into place (and I tried mashing the hell out of it). Interferes with the door lock buttons also. I took it back out and reinstalled the old one and it fit fine, just to prove that this new one doesnโt fit right. It does function properly but feels very cheaply made so Iโm worried about how long it will last. Would not buy again.

Good replacement
Took a little bit of modifying to fit a 2012 VW Passat. Once it was in it works great.

Super easy to install
Bought for my sonโs 2012 Passat. Was super easy to pop the old one out and the new one right in. Great value for the money and looks identical to the one replaced

Seems just like OEM
I really only bought this because I needed the knob. Idk where the knob ran off to or if it broke. But this item does seem exactly like the one in my 2015 VW Passat, so I'm happy.
