Kills Sprague Effectively
I purchased this to kill Sprague weeds in my lawn, and it worked very well. Easy to use and mix. I applied the product in a handheld pump sprayer. Excellent value and sprays very easy. Color is clear when applied and safety is easy. I used soap and water on my hands and water in the sprayer.

Effective but Requires Ongoing Maintenance
I have had good results with Southern Ag Amine 2,4-D Weed Killer for controlling broadleaf weeds in lawns and other treated areas. One of the biggest advantages is how quickly it begins working, with visible results that are noticeable within 24 hours. The product is straightforward to mix and apply and performs well in controlling unwanted weeds. The concentrated formula provides good value for the price and allows for treatment of a substantial area. The reason for the 4-star rating (though I would place it closer to 3.5 stars) is that the results are not long-lasting. While the product effectively eliminates existing weeds, new growth often begins to emerge within a few weeks, requiring repeated applications every few weeks to several months depending on weather conditions, weed density, and the specific treatment area. Despite this limitation, it remains an effective option for short-term weed control and routine landscape maintenance.

be patient it works
this stuff works great on everything i have used it on. thorny vines that laughed at the other brands of weed killers. it doesnt take a lot to do the job. it takes a week or so to really start seeing the results, so be patient. i sprayed a test area first to see the results before i went over the entire area.

Actually Works, And Fast!
This ACTUALLY works! Weโve been dealing with a horrible spurge infestation and broadleaf issue for 3 years now. After trying everything I decided to search in depth on what to use, then I came across this. I was definitely skeptical, but for the cost it wouldnโt hurt if it didnโt work especially since weโve spent thousands on other products. I sprayed it on the spurge and broadleafs around 9am Monday and by Monday afternoon the broadleaf was shriveled and brown. By today, Tuesday morning, spurge was losing color and getting crunchy which means itโs dying. The photos are of the exact plants before and after. In the last photo where itโs a huge patch of spurge you can see where itโs not a brighter green color, thatโs what I sprayed. I intentionally didnt spray some of it to see if it would actually kill the spurge even if I do not spray all of it. I HIGHLY recommend this product, but please READ AND ADHERE to the warning label. This is serious stuff and needs to be treated as so. The bottle is tiny but itโs a concentrate, you only need a little bit when mixing. I did not add extra as I wanted to see if what was recommended worked.

Chickweed Killer...Everything else survives.
Use 1.5 oz per gallon Doesn't hurt the grass Works on Chickweed, but nothing else. Is NOT a one-and-done application So, there are mixed reviews of this product. I live in Central North Carolina and we have an invasion of Chickweed from our neighbor's property. However, there are also clover, dandelions, and what I think are wild violets. I purchased this product as it is said to " Control many broadleaf weeds & woody plants", but not hurt the grass. My first dislike about this product is the lack of instructions. From what I read, it will tell you absolutely everything about this product except for its dilution ratio. I checked other sources and found that it is 1 oz per gallon. Just to be safe, I mixed 1.5 oz per gallon. I sprayed my front lawn to test its effectiveness. Within 48 hours, the Chickweed turned slight yellow, but it did nothing to the rest of the weeds. Four days later, I applied a second dose. The Chickweed is now a bright yellow, almost white, but the rest of the weeds survived. After the third application, the Chickweed is dying, but the Clover, Dandelions, and Wild Violets are growing strong. So, I too have a mixed review of this product. It seems to be effective only on Chickweed, but it does not hurt your grass. Also, you will need at least 3 - 4 applications to kill it off completely.

Packs a Wallop. Great for Making Friends
I tried this out because I had read a table that listed it as somewhat compatible with Perennial Peanut. I think this data came from a University of Florida Ag. publication. My hopes were to spray it in the general area of the weeds and hope that it (a) didn't kill my Perennial Peanut and (b) didn't kill what is left of my Bahiagrass. It turns out that 2,4 D Amine is great for weed control but NOT when you want to keep your Perennial Peanut unharmed. Within a day my weeds had begun to brown and wilt, I was so happy. Within a week, all of my peanut had turned brown and disappeared. My wife laughed at me because I was so sure of myself and my decision. I was devastated. Hank Hill would not approve. To its credit, the 2,4 D Amine got to work within 24 hours, devastating all of my weeds. My introverted neighbor actually came out of his house and crossed the street to ask me for a dose because it worked so well; this guy doesn't like talking to anybody if he doesn't have to. He even gardens at night because nobody is around and the sun isn't out. I was glad to share, hoping that the weeds would have a harder time crossing the street, back into my yard. Amazing stuff, although, I don't think it is intended for my application. It is great for making friends too I guess. The Perennial Peanut did not fare so well, nor did some of my bushes (I didn't think I had sprayed them, just near them, but apparently a little bit goes a long way). The novela length instructions boiled down to something like "A pint per acre with enough water to spread it" which wasn't too helpful since I was using this on my front lawn. The good news: my peanut has bounced back in all of the places where I had lost hope. Relief! I purchased in August of 2015, applied the poison in September, cried a week later. It is now December and all of my peanut has rebounded. The bad news: the weeds are starting to pop up as well. I blame nature. I also blame my neighbor's outdoor cats (feral?) who like to sleep in my front lawn - most likely the ones rolling around with seeds stuck in their fur. Considering one application controlled the weeds for 4 months, I am content. I still have 90% of the jug left, even after loaning some to my neighbor who has now offered for me to borrow tools "anytime." I will make a second attempt, only this time I will be more careful to steer clear of my peanut and important plants.

Creeping Charlie.
This is the only think that kills the creeping Charlie. I have bought it 3 times. To do my entire property. Worth every penny.

Strong but difficult to measure
If you get it right, it works wonderfully - but trying to work out the dilution ratio was just too difficult. Hence it lost a star. It worked on bindweed seedlings but anything a little larger - and the weeds are still growing.

Perfect for those hard to kill weeds
