I use python almost daily as part of my investigations. It provides the flexibility to find the data I am looking for and present it in a fashion that its easy to customize. As Python is becoming more and more popular and a "must know" on a lot of job posting for forensic examiners, I would highly recommend getting to know it.Major forensic software vendors are recognizing the need for flexibility in their tools and they have chose Python as the solution. This book really focuses on how the vendors allowed python to interact with the evidence in order provide quick and simple answers to the examiner. Chet provides very easy to follow walk throughs and even provides the codes used in his teachings.For anyone curious of how python can help aid your forensic investigations while maintaining your current tools, this is the book for you.

I expected more from this book!
