No, this product won't last as long as a Mercedes-Benz car or an Armani suit, but you're not paying that kind of money. I received a decently made and adequately packaged product which fit comfortably and worked acceptably well on 2 occasions so far to protect my head (not shoulders) from rain while drawing amusing compliments/comments from observers. That was enough to completely satisfy my expectations. At this point, if it totally falls apart tomorrow, I wouldn't mind. You're an idiot if you buy this to stay dry for the rest of your life or to attend high fashion events.

Hilarious gag gift. Doesn’t seem very sturdy, I wouldn’t rely on it to function as an actual umbrella but it’s great as part of a costume!

I purchased this for a gag gift for Christmas and it was a perfect little gift. Well made, and had no issues with it.

Had this hat for a Halloween costume. It is funny when you are wearing it but can't wear it for long periods of time. The head band is very small and would start to hurt after a short bit. Be careful when you open it to make sure it lines up perfectly in the center because once its off it impossible to close again.

Total smudge job led to a 1 day delay on the shipping, but that was due to a Torrential downpour. Anyway, it was worth the wait. These hats are straight fire. They block the sun, protect from the rain, and most importantly, deflects the h8rs. Perfect for 604 happy hours at Henri's, and Pirate Island Golf (Specifically for the Sea Isle Open). I got this hat for my dad. Everyday, when he walked his dogs, a hawk would attack his head. My sister suggested an umbrella, but we thought it would be a pain to carry. So I got him this hat. No more hawk attacks! Just today, he decided to go without the hat, hoping that maybe the hawk would have gotten over her aversion to him. He was fine in the morning and thought maybe the hawk has moved on. But when he took his afternoon walk, bam! Hawk attack! He went inside, put on the hat, and no more attacks. As a big bonus, it brings the neighbors a lot of joy! And, I’m not going to lie, every time I think about him taking his walks twice a day in this hat, I can’t help but smile. 🤣

A golfer's friend! Allows you to keep the sun off, while using both hands. I've had sunstroke before and avoiding the sun on my head is of ultimate importance. This may look a bit different, and sets you apart from the ball-cap crowd, but it works and allows air circulation to cool your scalp off. If and when the elastic band wears out, I'm buying another!

While running, walking or hiking it's good to have it handy when the rain starts. You can still hike/run/walk hands free and you'll be the envy of the wet hikers :-) It also comes ...handy when walking your dogs in the rain, leaving your hands free for taking care of the dogs
