My partner and I have wanted to get an air purifier for some time now, our roommates have cats, the previous residents were smokers, and our room gets dusty and very stuffy. I was able to get this Dustmagnet one on sale. I love this little thing so far. It’s only been a couple days to be fair but I’ve already noticed a difference in the freshness and crispness of the air. My partner and I have it in our bedroom. And I don’t know if it was just older reviews and the product has been improved or I’m missing something… but I have no issues with the sound. I expected it to sound like a fan. It is like realllllly quiet. We have it on auto and I can only hear it if I really pay attention. Even on its full setting it is simply a nice white noise and quieter than a fan in my opinion. On the app you can change the setting, monitor the air quality, and even turn down the LED indicator lights or turn them off entirely. I also very much enjoy its style, it gives me mid century modern vibes which I love. Time will tell about how it works long term but so far I’m very excited about it. In the video, I go through the different settings and there is little if any background noise. Level 2 and 3 seem to be significantly louder than any of them. I keep mine on auto full time and it’s virtually silent. The picture shows how I have my filters placed, the only thing I would change about this product is to make it super super clear in the instruction manual which direction they go in.

i rewieng I'm reviewing this product after couple month of used because i had been thoroughly looking for something for my mother's room to help filter out dust and odors, this device really delivers the air in the room has improved tremendously- the odors are gone, and it very easy to her to use. it doesn't take up much space and runs quietly. I'm very happy with this purchase!! .

Very nice unit. Easy setup and connection to the phone. Very effective for cleaning the air including the cooking smells in auto mode.

My main objective was to reduce dust and dander particles in the air, and I have seen a noticeable improvement. It's quiet and I like that I can turn off the led lights at night. My cat also really enjoys sitting on it, but then he learned he could change the fan speed or turn it off, so I also really like that there's a child lock that deactivates the control buttons on the unit (and just use the app). Like others, I was confused about the direction of the filters. I contacted customer service and was sent a diagram showing that the top filter should have the white accordion folds facing up, and the bottom filter should have the black charcoal side facing up. Although the diagram also noted that the filter direction will not affect efficiency of the unit.

It also reduces the smell in apt kitchen cooking as anyone who has lived in a smaller space can attest to their sheets smelling like what was being cooked in the kitchen. It is whisper quiet even on high setting of the different fan speeds. It is easy to move around since it's not 100 lbs full of water like the other units. The price is worth the money its not like you get subpar performance for hundreds of dollars.

Though the accompanying app indicated that the filters still had 16% life left, I decided to replace them sooner and was glad I did. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase and only wish I had made it sooner. I highly recommend this excellent product and give it five stars.

It's easy to set up, quiet enough on auto, and looks great with any theme of furniture. I enjoy seeing the air quality in any room I have one in on the app. You can also dim the status lights. The instructions are a little vague with which direction the arrows should be for the filters but that's the only hiccup I've had with this model.
