This duvet is good quality material. It looks similar to my restoration hardware set and I use this when that one is being cleaned. The price point is unbelievable considering how pretty it is.. I have a queen size bed that sits up high. I ordered a king size because it makes the square in the middle bigger and esthetically that looks way nicer to me. I also like with the king size the edges come down long enough on the sides. Plus, after you wash the cover (don't use gobs of bleach and be mindful of fabric softener) it seems to fit my queen comforter with just a little extra room. I ordered the standard shams to go with the rest. I use a kind and standard pillow to sleep. All wash up perfectly and I'm really happy I purchased this. It really is a good value for your money. The material is soft, but crisp, like I like it. Well made, so I know I will have it for a good long time. I may buy the navy set too. I like it that much. Thanks amazon.

Let me say right off the bat, will you mistake these sheets for 1200tc $500 sheets? No.But are they an excellent value, incredibly soft, and sharp looking? Absolutely.We ordered two shams, one sheet set and the duvet cover. Contrary to the negative reviews, these sheets aren’t tissue paper thin, they aren’t like sandpaper, and the stitching on ours is perfect. We threw them on the bed to get a good inspection, to make sure we didn’t have any issues that some of the negative reviewers had. Ours were perfect. I am blown away with the quality at this price point. They look great and our cat immediate went to sleep on them. Everything for as expected. Nothing too short or too long, the duvet was perfect, button close, even has ribbon to tie the corners of the quilt insert down.Blown away with the value of these. The only reason they get 4 stars on comfort and softness is in comparison to the aforementioned 1200tc sheets.

I don't generally write reviews but I'm impressed enough to take time to do it this time. I was tired of my uninviting, heavy bedspread and mountains of tassled pillows in my master bedroom...all dry clean only. I enjoy nice hotel beds, and having lived in Germany as a child, I have great memories of sinking down into fluffy "federbeden." I ordered this duvet cover plus two regular and two European shams for my king sleigh bed. As others say, it all arrived in very pretty boxes...very boutique-like. The taupe embroidery is a nice touch that pulls in my drapery and keeps the bed from being a big white blob in the room. The fabric is slightly silky and a nice medium weight. For just over $100 for the whole set, I'm very happy with the look and quality. I have two cats and a dog that prefer my bed over theirs, so being washable was a requirement. I washed everything for the first time last night and was very impressed. Obviously, 100% cotton is going to wrinkle, so I was worried. However, it looked pretty good straight out of the dryer. I sprayed a little Downy Wrinkle Releaser as I made the bed which helped. Then I tossed on a couple of cotton throw pillows and a fleece throw...looks pretty good. I may not even bother breaking out the steamer since duvets are supposed to be informal. The only negative is that the duvet cover dimensions are a bit skimpy...4 or 5 inches smaller than nice duvets like Cuddledown. I ended up ordering a lower quality duvet just because the dimensions matched this duvet cover. Overall, though, I'm very pleased.

Update May 27 2019- this has to be the best duvet I have ever purchased. After 10 months of daily use and regular washings it’s still incredibly soft and holding up well. I don’t even have to iron it out of the dryer. Makes the sleeping experience like luxury hotel bedding with the right down insert. Original review—The duvet material is very soft, and if you get the right down insert, you can easily recreate the hotel bed experience without spending a fortune, and it is totally worth it. Even after 6 months it still looks great and is so comfortable. Original review: I recently stayed in a nice hotel that had wonderful bedding from sheets to pillows to duvet etc. I decided I wanted to have a similar experience when I got home. I was looking for “hotel” quality bedding and I came across this duvet. I love it. It’s soft and looks great. I have a queen bed but purchased a king size - fits great. And the black stitching is a nice touch. I don’t know what people are commenting about the black square being small, but I think it’s a perfect size design.

I know many people purchased to actually "sleep under it", and totally understand that. I think it is simply beautiful, but I purchased simply to be an accent "puffy quilt" detail on the bed as a layering piece. That said my one question to others is where are they getting their measurements from. This is truly over sized 108 X 88 with pleanty of room for a very large king quilt to go inside. People, check your numbers, you are way off. Its perfectly roomy. Yes it wrinkles even just "looking at it" lol, but its gorgeous quality soft cotton. Not sure it can withstand multiple washings in its life time, stitching on the delicate side. I bought 3 euro shams for the bed from the set. Its all just gorgeous, and the PRICE...........its unheard of!!!!

Overall this is a great, silky soft duvet cover that feels high quality for an amazing price. We replaced our full size bed with a king and needed all new bedding. I had my “dream” Pottery Barn duvet cover but after our black cat spent a few years finding ways to mess it up, I couldn’t justify spending close to $200 for one that looks and feels exactly like this one. I was pleasantly surprised opening it and putting it on the bed. Very silky, nice embroidery and stitching, and nice hidden buttons at the bottom. Only thing that seemed not as nice quality are the inner ties to hold the comforter in the corners. They are silky cheap feeling material which seem like they’ll slip off easily. Time will tell on that, but otherwise absolutely worth it!

Love the fabric and the design. However, after washing the duvet cover, it comes out extremely wrinkled. Maybe that justifies the price but it takes an extensive amount of ironing to keep them presentable.

These bedlinens were exactly what I was looking for. They have a slight sheen and do not require ironing, but give you a true luxury feel. I will definitely be buying more in different coloured stitching for my home. Simply divine! Excellent value.

The Duvet cover and shams are beautiful, the stitching looks great and the fabric is luxurious. This is prewash, I don't know how they hold up yet but so far so good. I can't wait to get the sheets, they are on back order.
