Avya Skincare Discovery Starter Set | Anti-Aging | Gentle Cleanser (15ml) + Anti-Aging Power Serum (10ml) + Eye Bright Cream (5ml) + Night Moisturizer (10ml)

This little skincare set was just what I needed for a trip coming up. Nice velvety night moisturizer, I got good results with the eye brightening cream, and the cleanser was gentle. Two thumbs up.

This is a good starter sample set to try out AVYA skincare products. I love their products and especially the scent of their products. While I don’t always like skincare with added fragrance, I do occasionally enjoy certain scents in my creams and things. I’ve since tried all the four products and liked them all. The eye cream, moisturizer, and serum all feel quite gentle and light. It didn’t leave any sticky feeling nor was it oily. My skin absorbed it soon after applying and had a nice moisturized feeling. The cleanser also felt very gentle, and did not strip my skin of oils. The only thing I wasn’t so happy about is that dimethicone is high up on the ingredients list of the night moisturizer. I wish they could have done without it.This is a tiny sampler set so I’ll be out of it soon but would repurchase the full sizes, especially the eye cream.I included a list of the ingredients for anyone that needs to refer to it.

I got a sample of the avya eye cream in my birch box and I loved it. Decided to buy this so I could have the eye cream and try some other products. The eye cream in this kit, was not the same as the one in my Birchbox. It didn’t work as well, and had a slight burning feeling. It does smell good, but likely includes fake fragrances Bc the smell is strong. I wouldn’t buy this again.

I am in my late 40's with dry, sensitive skin made more so by my employment as a swim coach and instructor.This is a nicely packaged gift set and is certainly giftable packaging. Unfortunately, this irritated my sensitive skin.The cleanser has a strong natural scent which is what I normally prefer. In this case it is strongly chemical smelling but just the same, in my opinion it is better than added fragrances. This is a gel that when mixed with water becomes a white cream cleanser. I had difficulty rinsing it off compared to other cleansers I have tried. I didn't feel it while washing, but it did leave my face feeling dry and stripped.The eye cream is a lotion and a little bit goes a long way. I do not normally use an eye cream -- I just use my facial cream around the eye area. It applies nicely and patted into my eye area without rubbing. There is no scent. Unfortunately, it resulted in my eye area burning. I did try this when it wasn't following the cleanser with the same results.The vit C serum is something I expected to not work . . . my skin does not like vit C and reacts with acne for most brands. This is a clear gel and again, applies and soaks in nicely. I had some burning over my nose and on my chin so I only tried it once.The night cream is jarred and a very light yellow gel feeling lotion. It soaked into my skin nicely but was not nearly nourishing or moisturizing enough for my skin. After about 45 minutes I felt like I needed to reapply.Unfortunately for me, this does not work well for my dry, sensitive skin and I cannot recommend it.

I like sets because it’s a great way to discover a new brand and their products. This is my first time trying Avya and I like it so far. It includes a non-foaming gentle cleanser, an anti-aging power serum with vitamin C, eye bright cream with caffeine and night moisturizer with vitamin A. Each one is formulated with a blend of botanicals and good key ingredients. The blend smells amazing. They are all gentle and works well for my aging complexion.
