Great product
I bought it for my old LCD TV that I bought more than 10 years ago. The TV was still great but mostly idle in the past few years b/c it is not a smart TV. I have been using laptop to source the TV. The dongle is nice and easy to use. Follow the instruction, I set it up in about 5 minutes. Quality is full 1080. It works with most video stream apps including the netflix. And I can project my cell phone to TV as well. Text (web, IM etc.) displayed on the big screen is clear and nice to eyes.

poop
Part two of these. It works good until it disconnects itself about every 15 minutes. One device actually quit working all together

Works well with a little knowledge
Works as described. Manual all be it a translation, it is direct and complete. But one does have to have a bit of experience casting. Reasonable cost. Sonido Poco bueno. Manual, escribo en Ingles se muy Poco.

Great Apple Mirroring Substitute
I really like that this will wirelessly mirror nearly everything I see on my iPhone. Such as a face time video, phone games, and some streaming services that do work (which so far is Youtube, Spotify, and Crunchyroll). I tried Hulu, including through my browser but no luck with that. I also tried a video via Hoopla (my library’s digital media service) and the video did not show on screen. However, the speakers would work on both Hoopla and Hula so it "works" if you only want to use your TV as speakers while streaming these 2 apps I tried. The main reason I am trying this device is because I found out my Chromecast device is geolocked to America. So when I travel abroad, Chromecast does not work. I think it's so asinine, I will find the perfect substitute and this might be it. If this works while traveling abroad on half my streaming choices, then it's perfect to me. It's already great that I can mirror nearly everything I have on my phone minus some streaming.

Not 5G, very finiky but passable
I really wanted this to work all the time. I've experienced all the bugs the other reviewers discussed. In the end, after 2 weeks and getting it relatively working once in a while, it's gonna be a pass for me on recommending it to others unless you can deal with eventual stuttering. It's too picky with why or how it acts up. Whether its the restarts because it gets firey hot or it forgetting the wifi hotspot you spend 20 minutes getting to connect to, it's always something with this thing. One day I had it streaming smooth and audio was smooth. How I did it: I had tried connecting to 5G but its only 2G, so likely if you're router is 5G this thing won't even see it and you'll be thinking its broken. I set up a 2G broadcast finally (an hour gone trying to get 5G network) and it connected, and I connected and casted with my iphone. Iphone had to be on the same exact 2G network. Not an extended one, the same broadcast line. Stutter city here we come. Smooth for a while but then chug, chug, stop. Like freezing on a frame stop. Then I turned off bluetooth on my iphone. Much better. It seems to not like bluetooth signals in its path. And the iphone seems to not know how to cast right with bluetooth on. That was one day. It was a good one too, i streamed stuff. No real delays. Thought I fixed stutter city. The next day the wifi part gets hot and it begins to slow down streaming, stuttering and what not, until it goes black and restarts itself. Not even a freeze this time, just restart. Then I wait for it to reconnect. Connecting to wifi requires a bit of information that is not on the user interface -or the instructions. Because once you set your password to your wifi router in, it immediately connects and kicks you off its little cast network. So you then have to realize, (because there is no dialog or instruction to this) that "Oh, now I connect my phone or desktop to the network its one and cast." Simple enough but might get people in loops of not knowing what to do or thinking the thing is broken at that point. By the way, this could of been remedied by a better user interface on the thing and better instructions. But even then it's gonna tank out from the chip its using. Who knows, theres no support or company to reach out. Maybe some thermal paste on the innards would work. Anyones guess. tldr; it works when it works but you might be tinkering with it a bit to get there

Best value for the Price.
This wireless TV dongle adapter is a great choice for those in small living spaces or anyone looking to enhance their viewing experience without breaking the bank. It's sleek, easy to use, and the plug-and-play feature is a breeze – no complex setup required. Perfect for mirroring content from smaller devices to a TV, it’s ideal for casual viewing and simple presentations. While it has limitations with some subscription services, it's an affordable and practical solution for everyday streaming and screen sharing.

Garbage, would barely connect
I was looking for a cheap-ish replacement for a 1st generation Google Chromecast, this was *not* up to the task. The connection process wasn't terrible, but wasn't streamlined either. The real failure of this was trying to stream any video. I had the device placed about two feet from our home router which is connected to a gigabit internet connection. I was able to get youtube to cast to it, but it wasn't able to keep up with a pretty basic video stream. Every 3-4 seconds the video would stop and buffer for about 1 second. Youtube was the high point. I wasn't able to get Peacock, HBO Max, or Disney+ connect to it at all, just didn't show up for them. I have no idea what the use case is for this, but not me.

Doesn’t stream video well
I thought this was blue tooth capable, it uses the wifi router. It was a little challenging to get set up, but after a couple of attempts I got it. It seems to work fine to mirror my phone screen but locks up when I try to stream video from my phone. Doesn’t fill my need I’m going to return it.
