Extra layer of insulation. Good fit and value.

We purchased this cover when we got the cooler. It provides a little extra insulation with some pockets for the power cords and some other small items like napkins. I thought the Velcro would make opening it a nuisance but it wasn't at all. The other benefit that appealed to me was that it provides a little impact protection. The cooler is over $300 and I wanted to protect it when traveling. Also, the control panel can be easily seen and used through the clear cover.The only down side is that the USB port cannot be used. It would have been nice if there were a slit in the cover so the port could be accessed.It is black so if your cooler is in the sun, I think the insulating benefit will be negated. It's easy to remove so if your cooler will be out in the sun with no power source, just take it off.This review is based on a single trip. It was used in our FJ Cruiser with the AC cord plugged into the socket in the rear of the car. We were in and out of the cooler for almost 2000 miles of travel with two overnights in a hotel.If you get the cover, I highly recommend the cooler. You'll like 'em both ;)

This fits the BougueRV fridge perfectly, protects it and provides another option for carrying the fridge around. I love the pockets on it. I have the cords in one set and use the others for napkins or other handy items when traveling with the fridge.The insulation factor isn't huge but it really does help keep the fridge from having to run as frequently. The vents are open and once you put this on you don't have to remove it for use in the house or vehicle because the power connection is also available while the cover is on.The material is really nice and strong. I carried the full fridge with the straps multiple times over a 4 day weekend (in and out of the vehicle etc) and never felt like it was unsafe or flimsy. It just works well and I am sure it will protect the fridge on my offroad Jeep runs as well as on road trips around the country.Honestly I was hesitant with the cost, but am glad I spent the money on this cover. I recommend it to anyone with one of these fridges, especially if you are in a warm climate like me!

So far so good. Used it recently for a 9 day camping trip as a freezer and set it to -20C. It held the temperature and it recovered quickly after opening. We also have a 3 way absorption fridge and having this compressor fridge/freezer gives us piece of mind when travelling in warm weather. We can also pre-chill or freeze foods prior to putting it into the absorption fridge. Construction of the unit is sturdy, the lid shuts with a very solid latch (some reviews said it was not a solid latch so maybe they improved it). I bought the insulated cover too and it has adjustable straps that make carrying it much easier particularly if you have a shorter arm span if lifting by yourself.
