Cute story
This story was super cute. I really enjoyed this retelling and thought the author did a great job with it. The FMC was super sassy and violent and I just loved that. I enjoyed all of her love interests and honestly wished that this story was even longer so we could delve more into their characters and lives growing up. Overall this was a very easy read and kept me engaged throughout the story because the author did a great job of really putting us in the FMC's point of view of experiencing everything for the first time on land. I liked that the author included some characters from the first book in this series also. Highly recommend this great retelling of the little mermaid 🧜♀️

Great next story.
The characters were so cute. Discovering the world and explaining how they saw things. I also liked the way the ocean world was built like an actual world with the different sea species having personalities. It's been so long since the previous books I forgot about the sins when they first came in. This is a great mermaid story about getting revenge on a crazy king. It's not "the little mermaid" you've heard before but totally worth reading.

Fantastic twist!
Wow! I was not expecting this book at all but it was an amazing surprise! This twist on the little mermaid will hook you and drag you into its depths. Kishi is a strong sassy mermaid without a filter who is out to avenge her sister. She learns very quickly things on land are completely different to what she thought. Absolutely fabulous!! I could not put this book down! Highly recommended!! 💜🖤

Great series!
This series is great!! I absolutely live the twists on old fairy tales and each book is unique and it includes some character cross overs from other books in the series! I absolutely love this and highly recommend if you are up for some hot romance with reverse harems!

Wild
J. B. takes The Little Mermaid and turns it on its ear. Taking the classic tale and twisting out all the passion and angst there can be. This ain’t no Disney tale so don’t expect any dancing, singing lobsters.

Meh
This book had a lot of errors in it. Basic grammar, mixed up words, inconsistent character movement, and other things.I really didn't like how a whole scene would be outlined by a single paragraph. The end of the paragraph would make it seem like you weren't getting a whole sex scene, which is fine, but then the scene would start all over with details. It was confusing. This could have been a grand story, and I loved the premise. It just... It was bad. Even the sex scenes were placed at odd intervals and could have been done better. The cover art is fantastic though. Good job there

Definitely not the Little Mermaid Story from your childhood!
The story starts off with a bang and keeps you entertained throughout all the twists and turns. This is an RH twisted version of a Little Mermaid filled with HOT druids and a shark! Kishi is a brash mermaid that know what she wants and isn't shy about going after it! I really loved the different guys and how the relationship builds between them and Kishi. Thank you JB Trepagnier for another amazing story!!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Standalone fairytale retelling with wonderfull characters and a remarkable lightness
Kishi is a young mermaid who comes back from a hunt to discover her sister Seira was killed, together with an entire shark family, by people sent by the druid king. The other mermaids help her sink the ship and the people on it, but nobody wants to start a war by going openly against the druid king. Kishi, together with Taron, decide to leave the ocean and find a way to kill the druid king together. Once on land, they immediatly have to adapt to a life on two legs. This book is a standalone RH fairytale retelling of the little mermaid, and while a lot of fairytale retellings are dark, this one has a remarkable lightness to it. I enjoyed Kishi and Taron discovering how life on land is like and especially the way they discovered the workings of bedroom activities. It has been a while since I had so much fun while reading. Although this is a single POV, the author still managed to make a decent character building of Taron and he was an absolute delight. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I won't explain what he is, but I liked the fact that he was such an original character. I also liked Kishi: she's a strong and loyal fmc who doesn't mind to speak her mind and just say whatever she thinks. And then there is Beck, and Forrest, and Callum, ... I finished this book hours ago and I'm still smiling. This book was a true delight to read; I highly recommend it.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
