What u are doing is using the fingers to pop leaves of the flowers. And yes it will cut as well. This is not gentle and tightest trim possible. Works great. It will knock some tricombs off and the smaller buds will fall through to the botttom. Indoor I wouldn’t say it’s advantageous unless you have a huge grow.
