I used to smoke in it up until a couple of years ago when I quit all together. Since then I have used multiple items to try and remove the smell. Febreeze, Lysol, every type of solid air freshner and nothing worked. The smell always came back. I ran this in my truck for 48 hours straight when it came in. Now I only run it when I'm in the truck. It must have taken the smell out of the ductwork and vents as well, because my truck no longer stinks. Even my wife will ride in it now and she quit smoking over 5 years ago. Very happy that she will, because now we're back to 4 wheelin, just like the good ole days. The little light is a nice touch that we like.I can't say how well it works without any oils in there, I'm just trusting that it is since we can't smell a difference.
