A very great musician from big band era who was highly under-rated but not by big band musicians at the time who could compose and play music. This CD album represents a good mix of big band sound, and representative of the Claude Thornhill Band and associated talented vocalists and musicians.

Not being a trained music expert, I really just enjoy Mr Thornhill's music. This is the fifth CD I have ordered of his. All just great

Claude Thornhill's band / orchestra was absolutely superb

My Father, O.B. Masingill, Trombone And Claude’s #1 guy and my Uncle, Jeff Masingill, Saxophone; are both on the CD and their photos are in the liner notes (misspelled name). It is an incredible CD. Claude played piano - Here Comes The Bride at my Uncle’s Wedding to Loretta Lyden, one of the Snowflakes! Charged them $1.00! He had a great sense of humor! My Father wrote track 17: Pussy Footin. Claude used it as a B side and cut it on vinyl.Thanks so much for this outstanding compilation! These musicians were the cream of the crop and musical geniuses. Grab this gem. They don’t make music like this anymore. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
