306MBL Foundation Vent, 8" x 16", Stainless Steel

Simple install if you have the right tool. You need a screen driver with an Allen wrench type head. Once you have that it's decently easy to turn the screws and tighten into your opening. Took about 15 minutes to remove the old and put this one in.

They really look good. I replaced my old cemented in vents around the outside of my house.

I purchased 10 of these 1 does not open. I just ordered 3 more I hope not defected.If I open it within a few minutes it closes back and temp. is 75 Degrees should be open.I put all in freezer and they closed only one will not open

My cat somehow got stuck under my porch and I had to saw the 1930’s metal foundation vent grate to remove it and free her.So…to find another which would fit or I could retrofit. This one snugged right into the opening. Cannot use screws to fix in place. Used epoxy putty to secure tightly. Perfect for keeping critters from making themselves at home in the cool porch crawl space.

The internal measurements are 8 x 16 but the external measurements are considerably larger. That made this product unusable for us. When I contacted the company, I told them I didn't think I could make it work. They told me not to worry as they would take it back and refund my purchase. However, they stick you with the postage back (unlike most Amazon retailers) making postage almost as expensive as the item itself. I am very disappointed with this company. Unfortunately, I couldn't rate the product only the company. :(
