Durable product-crummy hardware
I like the durability and color options but hate the hex screws included to install it. So I got this product a year ago and it came with flathead screws to install which work great when installing. However, the second time I purchased them it came with hex head screws which take so long to screw in. Please give flathead or Phillips screws with this product moving forward.

I bought 4 of them, 2 of them do not Open at 70 degrees, also the Allen headed screws were very time consuming and slow to tighten.

Does not open and close
We have these vents in our crawl space . They stay open. It is now below freezing at night and the vents do not close as stated.They look nice but do not function properly.

Nothing automatic in this vent!
I purchased these for installation in our new foundation of our cabin in the Smoke Mountains with the hope that they would automatically close when it gets cold. They were easy to install and provide great ventilation BUT THEY DON"T CLOSE when it's below 40 degrees. Guess I should have purchased the lower price vents for half the price that one could manually close during the winter months!

Doesn't work
The louvers are supposed to close as the temperature gets lower (approximately 40 degrees F). I placed the item in a refrigerator (37 degrees F) then a freezer (0 degrees F) for 24 hours each. The louvers didn't close or even move in either case. It's basically an expensive fly screen :(

Easy install
Great value and easy install once you get those screws threaded! Working great so far! Looking for to replacing all of my old vents with this color and brand!
