Simply Remarkable Chalk and Talk Fine Tip Liquid Chalk Pen 3 Pack White

I just got these with a set of wider tipped chalk markers. I love them! So much better than chalk. I was able to add details to my lettering on my chalkboard that would be extremely difficult with chalk. Plus, no chalk dust! Just smooth lines.Also, they work on mirrors and windows. Leave notes for your family or write a message on your car windows. There are also some really adorable ideas on Pinterest for using these. That is where I actually learned about liquid chalk. They are a bit pricey, but they live up to the hype. If you are into chalk art, this is the way to go. Make sure you are patient getting them started though. You have to shake them and press down on the tip several times. It works just like a paint pen. Clean up is easy. I just wipe off with a wet sponge. Easy to erase mistakes.

Out of the 3 pens, one works really well, and started working almost immediately. Another one writes okay, but the ink doesn't come out as well. The third hasn't begun working at all yet, even after shaking and pressing the tip.

These chalk markers take forever to get to work and when they do start working they do not last all that long. Not very impressed.

This product came to me 100% dried out. All three! I added water to them and now they barely work. Either junky product or junky company. I still need some but will avoid this brand.

I really like the size and look of these markers for labeling. The small size is great for 3" chalkboard labels for things like baskets and bins -- I can write one or two words very clearly and neatly, and the color is bright. I've only had to use one marker so far, but I had no trouble getting the ink to flow smoothly and evenly after following the directions on the package. I've written ten labels with no signs of it running out of ink. I've had just one label that smeared a teeny tiny bit, and it's the label that my kid brushes up against all the time. (When I was using real chalk, it was a nightmare of a smeary mess on both label and child.) I labeled a hot coffee thermos, and the heat didn't bother the ink at all. Overall, these have been great and inspire me to keep labeling random things around the house. :)
