Like Real Money
I purchased this for my five year old grandson who is learning to count money and make change. We both love these bills. They are just a little smaller than actual bills but larger than others we have used. They look very authentic and my grandson feels like he is dealing with real money. We did discover that the pack was missing $20 bills and had two stacks of $10 bills instead. I notified Amazon and they replied within 10 minutes saying they were sending a new pack, one-day shipping and to keep my original purchase. My five star review is for the play money as well as Amazon's very quick, very satisfactory solution.uUPDATE: MY NEW PACK ARRIVED THE VERY NEXT DAY. I HAVE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF A REAL BILL AND A PLAY BILL SO YOU COMPARE.

They even SMELL like real cash
These are great. They have the correct presidents/founding fathers on each of the denominations and look similar to real money but are smaller, less flexible, and obviously not real.I'm trying to teach my kids about money, so each chore they do will have a "dollar" value attached to it. Then they can save in their envelopes and redeem their "money" for something special, like a movie night at home with popcorn, a date with Mom or Dad, a half hour of screen time, etc. And then if they don't listen, fight, talk back, etc, the tax man comes and issues fines. 😂

Realistic looking and great size for kids pretend play!
I bought the money for pretend play to go with the Melissa and Doug supermarket and grocery play food. The girls love playing "store" and have fun exchanging the money after shopping! I found some free printable play checks and coupons online (that I printed and laminated) to help the girls with money and math skills while they play!! 😉

Ideal teaching tool
Ideal for kids to learn how to count money and for the little ones to playing store. Since it is hard to have real money in the house. You get 35 $1, bills, 25 $5, bills, 20 $10, bills , 20 $20, bills, 5 $50, bills and 5 $100, bills. The quality off the paper is very good. The bills are somewhat smaller then real money but that really doesn't matter. It does come with suggestion on what activities you can do with the play money. I especially like the suggestion to give the play money as a reward and after a certain amount they can purchase small toys, pencils that you have put aside.I personally am trying to teach my son to save, donate and then the rest is for what he wants. So for every $1 play money he has earned I give him a dime off real money and for every $100, I give him $10,. I exchange the play money once a month for real money. From that 1/3 goes into a savings, 1/3 into donation and 1/3 for whatever he wants to do.

Great to use for play money
Desperate to get my children to do their chores I purchased this play money. My thoughts were to pay them per chore. They get paid every Friday and they get to buy things from a treasure box. They can save their money for larger purchases. It worked. And they love the idea and don't mind doing the chores now. The bigger the chore the more money they receive. They are are happy and so am I!! The money is good quality and very cute.

good value, well made, sturdier than you'd think
The detail is good! It looks and feels enough like real money to make a satisfying addition to the toybox. My grandkids are under three years. The dimensions make it easier for small hands to count and place into a wallet, pocket, or bag. It's study! This product has withstood some light chewing 😅, cleaning, and being folded/crumpled then straightened out again several times. To straighten I gently rub with the spine of a boardbook and then leave the stack under a pile of books to flatten. To sanitize I spray lightly with Lysol and pat with paper towels.

Great tool to teach kids about money
So I ordered these for our Target Dollars. I needed a physical representation of what we were already implementing with our kids I.e. you do chores, study or help or you earn target dollars that you spend at Target how you want. I took a marker and made Target bullseyes. They build in their bank, take them and decide what to spend, and pay me at the register. I think I’ll order more to make Amazon dollars as they get older!!!!

Fantastic Resource for teaching about money!
LOVE!!! Making money bags for my class, and these are perfect!!! Looks very realistic. Great quality for the price. My only complaint is I wish they had more 100 and 50 dollar bills. I just ordered another pacl so I can give each student one of each bill.
