It comes in a pink box and well padded with Styrofoam for protection. Two pink lace strings at the top, possibly for wrapping around the base? It included a Best Wishes card too which is a nice touch.It doesn't look as pretty when you first bring it out the box as when it is lit up. You can see the photos it really is a lovely piece. Reminds of beauty and the beast rose.Perfect as a romantic gift or just to someone who likes roses and lights.I may keep this out all year round not just February. It takes 3 AA batteries and when you switch it on it is fast flashing. Turn it on and off again to change it to slow flash, switch it on and off again to stay static lit. One more switch on and off to turn it off. That is the cycle every time you turn it off. It is a nice piece, 4/5 for us.
