I was at physical therapy for neck and upper back pain, and the therapist wrapped a heating pad around my neck and shoulders. It had a strap to fasten it. I was talking to him about getting one, but AI was unable to find one at the site he told me to go to. I found this one on Amazon. I like the "collar" that encircles the neck and the shawl like area that covers my shoulders to get the trapezius muscles on both sides. The back hangs a little low to get the upper part of the thoracic spine, but does not hang all the way to the mid back. (Neither did the one at the therapist's office. ) It is very nice to sit with it. It stays in place and holds it's heat for at least 20 minutes or longer. It is easy to heat in the microwave, and has a comfortable heaviness because of the beads which make it stay in place. The hint of lavender is a relaxing bonus. I am well satisfied.

This is very good for neck and shoulder pain. Heat lasts over 20 minutes. Helps me and is easy to use. I really like this and sure you will.

Love this microwaveable heating pad…It relaxes my shoulders right down and helps me relax. Also feels good over my head and face.

It was a good fit for my low back and achy knee. Holds heat well.

This is a very nice moist heating pad. It maintained heat for probably 15 mins. It’s not exceptionally wide, but it is pretty long. It helped the pain in my shoulder a lot, and was heavy enough to keep it in place for coverage.

Nice design, but keeps warmth too short for me. I have expected different material inside. It is like small grains. Outside material is nice to touch. It is heavy which helps to accomodate to place you are warming up.

I'd recommend this heating pad for anyone with neck and shoulder pain.The contours of the pad fit the neck/shoulder muscles well and the beads inside have a good weight to help the pad sit firmly and deliver the heat. It holds the heat pretty well over a 15-20 minute period. On top of all that, it smells good too.I've been doing physical therapy on my neck/shoulders and using this pad at home. It works better than what my therapist uses :-)
