These are nice warm bulbs with LEF filaments. That makes them efficient and less prone to failure in extreme cold or dampness.Unfortunately, despite the good construction, they have glass outers. If you're using them for outside string lights you may find that in the wind they can blow around and break against a fence or post. They may still work, but will leave thin glass on the ground.You can get plastic covered LED bulbs at a similar price. For indoors these are fine, but where they may be subject to knocks, I'd go for the plastic variety.

I have 40W incandescent bulbs that give off a warm ambiance, plus as you'll see they're much larger, but the cost for one of those is the same as a six pack of these! As to the size difference, that's down to personal preference and use, I intend to use these in a different room so they're the perfect size.As to performance, they give off the same warm light as the incandescent bulbs, and are just as bright, so that's a 2W LED equal to the 40W incandescent. Plus the incandescent bulbs are fragile, I expect these LED bulbs to last a lot longer.Like most LEDs these don't dim per se (as stated by the supplier), although they do in fact dim a bit. I tried one of these beside an incandescent bulb on the same dimmer switch, the incandescent gradually dims from 100% down to 0%, the LED jumps from full power to off in about 4 hops, going off when the dimmer switch is about 30% although note that the bulb only dimmed about 50%. Plus there was no flicker either (a common issue with LEDs)So all in all I'm happy with them, they look nice and are ideal for what I need.

These lights are very small (much smaller than a standard bayonet-type bulb) and fit very well with an industrial look. We are using one with a black industrial-style lampshade and it gives off exactly the right kind of light to accent the look perfectly. Not quite sure what is meant by Energy Class G but they're low wattage and, hopefully, will last a long time. Very impressed.

WHY BOTHER TO CREATE A 2W LIGHT BULB EQUIVALENT TO 10W AND THEN MAKE IT EVEN LESS VISIBLE BY MAKING IT WARM WHITE. WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT A++ IS JUST ABOUT THE BEST CLASS RATING FOR A DEVICE, WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU THINKING OF CREATING A WARM WHITE 2W/10W BULB WITH A CLASS RATING OF G. FOR THE ENVIRONMENT IT IS A BIT LIKE CREATING A HYBRID CAR THAT WHEN IT IS NOT RUNNING ON SOLAR POWER IT RUNS ON COAL. ON TOP OF THIS THEY CALL THEM RETRO. JUST WHAT ABOUT THESE COULD YOU CLASS AS RETRO ?! I’M NOT GOING TO RECOMMEND THESE. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PAY OVER £2 ( $2.52 USD ) FOR A BULB THAT IS VIRTUALLY POINTLESS AND EVEN MANAGES TO BE BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

These bulbs not only fit my outdoor lights they also fit a new indoor one i have, for which i wanted a very dim bulb (these are the equivelant of 20W) so it doesn't glare or reflect into my eyes or in the tv.Although it provides more than enough light it is not hard on my eyes and so is perfect for my vision, which always feels strained especially on an evening.I would definitely recomend these bulbs.

A nice gold tinge to the glass of this replacement for my fairy lamp string bulbs. The colour giving credence to the 'Retro' Label. My fairy light string has had a casualty or two in the recent storm which decimated a quite robust garden shelter . Proving the quality and strength of the fairy lights, I only lost two - no shed, but I do have a string of lights, thank you Arwen!This 6 pack of bulbs are gratefully received and are a direct replacement for my lost bulbs, the light is soft and pleasant and I think a good buy. It is welcome to five stars.JC

ich habe dieses Set bestellt, weil ich eine gemütliche und stylische Beleuchtungsmöglichkeit für die 7 flammige Hängelampe über meinem Couchtisch gesucht habe. Da waren die bisher eingesetzten 4 Watt Birnen aus dieser Serie einfach zu viel des guten - sprich zu hell. Mit diesen - sogar dimmbaren - Birnen komme ich dem Ziel deutlich näher. Schön und wertig im vintage-Stil verarbeitet eine tolle Sache, die hervorragend ins Gesamtbild des Raumes passt. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Set - kommt einzeln verpackt in recycelten braunen Kartons incl. Umkarton (keinerlei Kunststoff - Respekt, weil nachhaltig) und verbreitet einfach Gemütlichkeit. Elektrisch und auch insgesamt gut verarbeitet und durchaus wertig, recht dickes Glas, Klare Empfehlung.

Die Verpackung ist völlig ausreichend, es entsteht kein unnötiger Plastikmüll.Länge incl. Gewinde 8,9 cm, nur Glaskörper 6,1 cm, Durchmesser 4,4 cm.Alle sechs Birnen funktionierten einwandfrei. Wir nehmen weder ein Geräusch noch ein Flimmern wahr.Das Glas ist getönt, die Birnen strahlen bernsteinfarbenes Licht ab. Für unseren Geschmack sehr schön.Die Helligkeit der 2 W-Birnen ist genau richtig für die offenliegende Anwendung. 4 W wären für unseren Geschmack bereits zu hell.Einziger Kritikpunkt: das Glas ist etwas unsauber, bei offenliegenden Birnen fällt das auf.Vier Sterne.

Die Glühbirnen kommen schnell und gut Verpackt ohne viel Müll an. Und man braucht diese nur noch eindrehen.. Funktioniert und macht ein normales Licht das nicht zu Grell ist und ganz angenehm. Auf dem Foto könnte man meinen sie seien größer.. sind aber eher von der kleineren Sorte.Die Qualität ist sehr gut und für den Preis echt gut, sie machen in der Form mit dem Aussehen eine offene Lampe zum hingucker. Ich kann eine Empfehlung geben und auch 5 Sterne

Ich bin beim Versand von Leuchtmitteln ja immer skeptisch, es kam oft genug Bruch an.Diesmal aber nicht :-) Die Glühbirnen waren alle nochmal einzeln in Kartons verpackt und alles kam heil an.Wir haben eine neue Deckenlampe mit goldfarbenen Fassungen, da passen die Vintage LED Glühbirnen richtig genial dazu! :-))Das Licht leuchtet wunderschön in gelb gold - einfach toll !!Einem Kauf spricht nichts entgegen.Liebe Grüße
