Purchased this thinking it would be just as good and easy to use as the original. I was mistaken as it's definitely not as user friendly (likely a user-error or lack of skill on my part) however if you're looking for an easy to throw item this is not it, even after following the instructions on which way to gently bend it to correct the direction it tends to go, this frequently went way off course left or right when the original would go straight.

Just get the round one, this one was a good try but the round one is actually accurate. We struggle to control this and it's heavy. We love the round version , we like this version, but we most often play with the round :)

I love this thing! It is, in my opinion, much better than the round flying ring. I thought this thing couldn't possibly beat the #! ring, but it did. I played and played with this Aerobie Pro Blade with my 8 and 6 year old girls, they outperformed mother! I would purchase again. Easy to throw, even easier to catch!

By the time we got used to the way you had to throw it, then it was broke. Couple times hitting the ground and my dog grabbing it then it already started cracking. Once she saw the crack it was over with, time to completely destroy. Not a fan of this one.

Aerobie dropped the ball on this one. First, it is too fast with almost no float. This makes tossing and catching hard to do in small places or for young throwers. Worse is that the structure of this flying contraption it's a spring! That's right. Unless you catch it through the hole(difficult on this one due to speed) you catch it on the side. But there mass and speed of the ring instantly turn it to a spring that folks in itself, then springs away from your hand before you can grasp it! If it hits the ground, it becomes a springy jumping roller that rolls forever (into traffic no matter how far away). It is covered in traditional aerobie soft rubber. Unfortunately the leading edges are so thin and sharp, kids are afraid to catch it. Even for adults, it's not comfortable. But try as you might, it just hits your hand and springs away! Designers were so concentrating on getting this thing to fly, they forgot to design for actual play! Completely disappointing. But a frisbee coaster instead. A baby can catch those things. Plus you can throw those where they float down to their target if they are too young to have it thrown at them. The classic is still the best.
