I am a professional seamstress, and I use it in anything with a metal zip. You only need a little dab in the slider, run the zip up and down a few times and it's ready.I This lube is used in marine applications, but it's wonderful with zippers, snaps, that are catching or hanging up. The tip allows you to precisely apply it to the zipper teeth and not on the fabric. **Q: Will this make them easier to unsnapΒΏ say, in the wind?** A: In my experience, yes, it will help with snaps. How much it helps depends on how much of the product has worn off since it was applied and of course how strong the snap is. Not a lot of the product is needed to begin with, just a thin coating on all bearing surfaces. I renew the coating when the snap gets stubborn again.
