Mechanix Wear MFF-03-008 Fast Fit Glove Blue Small

I've been looking for a durable glove that can go through the wash and feels good on the hand. I decided on this model. The color is wonderful, it has a nice fit, it washes well so far - but it's thin with no palm padding at all. It is not as good as the $9 pair I got in the grocery store. If the price were lower on these. say $10, I'd give them five stars. Disappointed. UPDATE: I've been using these now for quite a while and they hold up after lots of use and repeated washings - so I am upping my score. For the money, these are a good deal!UPDATED TWO YEARS LATER: I just upped my review on these gloves to five stars. Durable over two years, these gloves go through the washer, look great coming out (air dry) and continue to be durable. They have way outlasted the gloves I bought in the grocery store. YAY! I am buying another pair.

Don't confuse the words "tactical" with "tactile". These gloves are thin to provide finger friendly feel when working any project. They provide excellent basic protection against cuts, scraps, dirt, and "warm" (not hot) objects. They'll also work as base layer for cold weather (I wear a heavier set of gloves over top of these for additional warmth). They're a good glove for 90% of everyday needs. They are not waterproof and will absorb liquid. However you can using nitrile/latex gloves over/under these gloves. I recommend using the sizing chart and buying the correct size glove. Don't "man up" and buy a glove too big for your hand.These are the "Fast Fit", so no Velcro straps to wear out after a month!

2nd or 3rd pair this year. Decent fit, don’t inhibit fine dexterity much, easy enough to rinse clean and mostly durable but I have trouble keeping the fingertip seams intact.

My wife and I use these Mechanix gloves whenever she helps me out around the house. They're thin enough to be able to pick up small screws while they're still on, but provide enough protection so you don't rub your skin raw while tackling fix it projects. One drawback is that they aren't very comfortable once they get wet, so leave them behind when doing any sort of plumbing work.
