I used one of these bits, drilled through the gear and into the shaft, and used an old broken drill bit to make a pin. The gear was slipping on the shaft and wouldn't turn the shaft to make my nibbler work. I tried a TiN coated bit and a cobalt bit to no avail. The sintered gear was just too hard. I used just one of these little diamond bits and it was still working when I finished drilling the hole through the gear and into the shaft. I couldn't see any wear on that bit. Simply amazing!
