Timber Ridge 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent, Waterproof Windproof Tents for Camping with Rainfly, Easy Setup Big Tent for family for 4 Season

Got this after another 6 man easy-up of mine finally died. Arrived quickly to take on a camping trip we had planned. I usually test my tents before a trip, but decided to try this one in the field.Easy-Up as usual - setup with 2 people took about 10 min, would probably take 15 with 1 person. No obvious manufacturing flaws of any kind. Staked out fly, as we were supposed to get showers.Interior is REALLY roomy. I'm 5'9", wife is 6', neither of us has to stoop in the tent. Large enough to put a queen sized Coleman cot, all of our gear, and still have room to move.Rain hit a bit harder than just showers, and wind kicked up a bit. With the windows and doors closed, there was absolutely no leakage at all. Dry as a bone, even though the ground outside had standing water by the time the storm was done. After that, we opened the screens, and airflow was perfect.Breakdown, as expected, took about 15 min. Repacked, the size of the tent is relatively unobtrusive for its size.Have taken it camping 3 times now, and it's holding up great. Definitely recommend.[update] Have owned this for a year and a half now, taken on more than 10 camping trips. This tent is a keeper. No issues at all. Had one small tear happen near the front door, which was easily patched. Other than that, outstanding tent for this price point.

After reading some of the reviews, I got nervous about purchasing this tent, and I almost canceled the order.I'm so glad I didn't. I agree with all of the positive reviews that this is an excellent tent. Someone made a comment that the floor was thin. I don't think it's thinner than any other tent I've owned, of which I've had many. And if it measures thinner, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't hold up if the material is strong. It seems fine to me, but I'll see in time.I love the way it has so many windows and doors, and the rain fly can be removed to expose the whole ceiling to the stars. The rain fly clips on to the main tent poles so no need to stake down if you don't want to.Both front and back have doors that can unzip upwards and also outwards at the bottom leaving about a 4" high overstep, due to the "tub-like" floor, to walk into the tent. Because the tent is so tall, you can just walk into the tent without having to bend over and crawl like you're entering a cave, you just walk right in. I'm 6' tall, so that's a first for me. Then there's two walls to the doors. The inside wall is all mesh, the outer wall is solid material, whatever blend they're using. So if you want airflow, you can pull away the outer wall and the mesh keeps all the bugs out, while letting the air flow through. That's on both front and back, so complete air flowing through, and lots of zippers so it's easy to mix and match what configuration you want. The sides have large windows that also can be left covered or exposed with mesh keeping the bugs out.The zippers are super smooth with steel hand pulls, not plastic.The height is superb. First time I've ever been able to completely stand upright, except in our 9 person family tent.If I run into any issues I will re-post, but from what I've seen so far, I would not hesitate at all on this purchase and I'm glad I didn't let the negative reviews sway me until I could check it out for myself.As far as set-up, It's your typical pop-up. Pull the telescoping poles upward, and it pops into place in about literally one minute. I've had several pop-ups and I love them.As far as taking it down, it's obviously just as easy. Push the push-buttons in to release the poles back down, fold the legs a couple times inward towards center and you're done.As far as it being hard to get back into the carrying case, it's like any other tent. Squeeze as much air out as possible and put the tent in with what would be the top of the tent going into where the zipper on the carrying case starts. Then continue to squeeze the air out and close the bag little by little as you zip it up. Always pull the two sides of the bag closed with your hands until the two sides are together, then easily pull the zipper along. Never use the zipper as the force to pull the two sides of the bag together, that's how you blow out a zipper for sure.It's a big tent so a lot of air gets trapped, but it's no harder than any other tent bag, they all need a little finessing to get them back in, but it works fine. You just need to be a little patient to let the air escape.No problem at all giving this tent a 5 star all the way.

Overall I was impressed by how easy this tent was to set up by myself. I really enjoyed the spaciousness of the design. While camping there was a significant amount of rain that came through the area. It did pretty well, however, I did have some puddles in the tent that I was disappointed about. There wasn't anything that was touching the walls, and I had used a spray to help waterproof it.While I really liked how easy it was to get in and out of, I didn't like the placement of the stake outside of the door. It kept coming out every time I entered or exited which was annoying. This could have been designed better.My only other complaint is the fabric used for the bottom of the tent. It isn't very thick and can tear easily if you are not super careful. You will definitely want a tarp underneath for added durability.

This tent fits a queen mattress with extra room to move around and change inside the tent comfortably. The set up was super easy. The tent is durable and dew resistant. I haven't had to test it in rain yet but I will update if I ever do.

This tent is a nice roomy tent that I can put up by myself in about 10 mins from start to finish with the rainfly attached and a tarp layed out on the ground for the tent to sit on. I don't really know how water proof the sides are because I had a tarp covering the whole tent while it rained on us, But I can testify to the waterproofing on the floor, It literally looked like a waterbed when you walked around inside the tent because we we sitting in about 2" of water and NOTHING got thru and we were dry as a bone inside. The bottom of this tent has some sort of waterproofing material all around the bottom and up all 4 of the sides about 4-6 inches and it keeps you dry during a heavy rain. We also had some really strong winds and it stood strong with no damage. I really like the tent and I'm very happy with my purchase. It seems to be very well made and with good quality materials. I would definitely recommend to others. I will update this review down the road for a longevity review after some time of use!

Easy setup, great size for 2 people, did I say super easy and quick setup. Pretty sturdy as well.

小さい子供がいるので大人1人で建てられそうなこちらを購入。本番前で庭で組み立ててみましたが20分ほどで組み立て完了。キャンプ当日は要領を掴んでいるため、ペグ打ちも含めて15分で程で組み立てられました。通気性も良く、雨にも問題無さそうです。このサイズで大人ふたりと子供2人で広々と寝れました。小さなお子さんを持つ親御さんや、初心者の方に強くお勧めします。

良いところ...ものすごく簡単に設営できます。地面に広げ、４隅のポールをさらに広げそのポールを持ち上げながら足を伸してロック！そのまま起こせば完成しました！１０分かからずに完成です。（ペグ打ちは除く）完成後のテントが大きいのでフライシートをかけるのがちょっと大変でしたけどね。４面メッシュがあり、さらに天井がメッシュなので通気性は抜群です。ただし、冬キャンプには向きませんね。全部閉めても外気温とほぼ変わらず寒かった。重いだけあり骨組みはしっかりしていて安心感があります。天井が高くめちゃくちゃ広いです。身長172cmですがかがむ必要はありません。普通のコット3つをコの字に置いて真ん中に大きいテーブルが置けます。悪い点は...ものすごく重い！骨組みがしっかりしているぶん重量があります。力がないと厳しいかも車でキャンプサイトまで行けるか、近くないと運ぶのが大変です。たたんだ状態でもデカイので家での収納場所も悩むところです。撤収は設営時より時間がかかります。テントの上部分と床のシートが一体になっているのでうまく畳めない。きれいにならして手順通りにたたまないと袋に収まりません。力もいります。とは言え、時間的には他のテントの撤収時間と変わらないと思いますキャンプ中たまたま雨が降ったんですがフライシートかけても完璧には雨の侵入は防げません。タープがテントの上に掛かるように張ってしてしのぎました。組み立てがとにかく楽なのでその点が良いですね。他の人達が苦労して組み立てている脇で一瞬にしてデカイテントが立つ。そんな感じです。このクオリティーでコスパは非常に良いと思います。オートキャンプ場や、駐車場が近いキャンプ場ならおすすめです。

購入して、1週間後ようやく設営できました！袋の中身は届いてすぐ確認しておいたのでなんとなくこんな感じかなー？(折り畳み傘)と予想はしてましたので、慌てる事無く広げて足伸ばしたら自然と立ち上がるって感じです！ただ、4本の支柱の内一本伸ばした足がロックがかからず！結局その場では、どうする事も出来ず諦め、持っていたタープで直接負荷かからないようにどうにか設営できました！商品はイイ感じなんだけど、もう少しチェックして欲しいです！なので星１つです！追記最初、衝動的に星一つでしたが、ショップに連絡した所、新しい商品を送ってくれるとの事で、設営の簡単さや、雨やある程度の強風でも、平気でしたので物は値段以上だと思うので、初期不良がなければ星五つです！
