Visual Adventure minus the traveling
First and foremost, humor; both obvious and subtle abound in this story of entertaining and inventive adventure. Part discovery, part geographical education, the author takes you along to participate in the experience of a celebration in his discovery of a bygone way of life. In today’s world of speed and immediate gratification complete with the convenience of technology, this memoir allows the reader to imagine a life devoid of all life’s current comforts while humoring them with the cabin fever escapades that teach as much as they entertain.

Scratch That Itch...Don't It Feel Good?
Take a step back in time, into the brilliant mind of a madman left to his own devices. Inside you'll find whimsey, you'll find heart, you'll find yourself laughing and scratching your head at things that make heads itch. With carefully crafted illustrations to accompany each engrossing section, the author provides his readers with plenty of poponidoxical content to matriddelope over. I recommend that you just read the gosh darn book and stop letting reviews decide what you do with your life!

Brad is funny. Even without hallucinogenic drugs.
I don’t listen to much at 1x speed anymore, so I’m not sure if listening at 1.5x makes this funnier than it normally would be. But then why would a woodchuck chuck at 1x when it could chuck wood at 1.5x?

Intriguing. Adventurous. Humorous.
It was fun to travel around Montana and see what life was like "off the grid" through this book! And, the embedded short stories make it 10/10! I also recommend the audio book as the reader is enchanting.

Enjoyed the trip through your perspective. I give you props for being off the grid for so long and had adventures while you were able!! Love the humor infused throughout. It’s like I can hear you telling the story
